The staff was amazing and we received a free room upgrade since our single bed room would not be ready for another hour and a half. The room we were assigned to was a double queen bed. The room was very spacious, clean and tranquil. My husband and I enjoyed the free happy hour with a small popcorn and a nice view of the property. Even though we were right next to interstate 35, it felt as though we were miles away from the highway.

The room was fine, small but clean. The hotel population, however, was very sketchy. People smoking weed outside their rooms, a tweaker pacing back and forth on the phone. The food was equally unappealing. Would not stay here again.

We stayed here in 2021 and we remember it was pretty enjoyable. Now, it doesn’t seem to have the same standards. As we checked in the was very friendly. As we opened the door to our room we were immediately disappointed. The floors were dirty, the entire room was very old & dated. By the night stand in the middle of cubby area, there was the ice cube bucket made a ramen bowl with the last persons left over ramen dried up in it and an old hot Cheeto bag inside it, super gross. The brown chair in the room had stains on it. As I walked around the property, I saw old beds and brown chairs out back thrown by the dumpster, which made me think about bed bugs. There were sketchy people all around the property and people smoking weed freely around the property. We decided to stay the night & see how it goes. At around 1:30am we were woken by someone trying to get in our room and the door handle was being shaken , looked outside & didn’t see anyone though. The next day we decided to eat the cost of our 2nd day and we were able to get a refund for the 3rd day. We went somewhere else. We did not feel comfortable staying here.

Convenient but not quiet. Probably the best mid budget hotel we have stayed at in awhile. Clean, interesting. Pool is basic but clean and great for the kids. The happy hours that included something for the kids was great. We stayed there on a short day on our cross continent road trip.

It was really nice quiet and clean.

I’m glad I didn’t listen to the review that said there was a bug. There was zero bugs. It was spotless. I stayed in the garden room honestly for 80 bucks it’s like incredible. Lady served me a waffle in the morning. Really nice beautiful garden too.Right outside my door like a resort almost. Walking distance to Walmart
