This hotel seems like it being refurbished. Our room was comfortable, clean and newly remodeled the pool looked very nice and inviting although we didn’t use it free breakfast is always a plus friendly staff.

It is strange that the sleeping rooms are not carpeted. They have vinyl plank flooring. Also, I had called ahead to ask for an early check in, but was denied. I was told we could check in 1/2 hour early, but we needed 1 hour. The hotel was nowhere near full so clearly there were plenty of rooms already made up, but they were not willing to accommodate us, so we had to change our plans. We will not be staying there again.

You can’t get a better value for your money anywhere else in East Lansing. Excellent property, close to grocery stores, eateries and other stores. Breakfast was way better than the Marriott AC Lansing hotel where we stayed earlier.

TV didn’t work in the room, my sheets on my bed were dirty and heavily stained. One appeared to be a urine stain (can’t actually confirm that). Couldn’t control the room temperature so it was super hot all night and uncomfortable. In the bathroom I could hear the other person showering like they were in my shower. Walls are super thin so I could hear every time someone opened and closed their hotel room door. Woken up several times by people in the hallway early in the morning (around 4am). Could hear everything the room next to me was saying. I’d say it’s probably one of the worst hotel stays I’ve had. Super disappointed and won’t be back. I’ll pick a different hotel. 👎

The rooms are not sound proof, so just pray that your neighboring are quiet or unoccupied. Hard to get any sleep if people speak in the hallway. Breakfast is good. They don't have banana though. Air conditioning is very old. The dial does not seem to be working. The temperature cannot be adjusted. An indoor pool is convenient. We couldn't use fitness room though. It was after 9pm but the information says it should be open until 10pm.

We checked in and already I recognized that I didn't feel safe in this hotel. It smelled very heavily of marijuana. We walked to our room & the facility was not as it was pictured on the website. The site definitely made it look WAY better than it was. Once in the room I was even more disgusted. It was VERY unclean, pictures falling off the walls & the smell of marijuana was so strong I went back to the front desk to ask for another room. The rooms were also way smaller than they appeared on the site. We gave the other room a try, walked through a back hallway where people were clearly living there and/or paying by the day/hour. The back entrance was not secure, pipes were exposed. The building was falling apart. The new room smelled a little better, but after traveling to this new room there was no way I was going to stay here with young son and his friend. We were only in the facility 15-20 minutes and we checked right back out. I was very upset by this experience & it really made our day less convenient and added stress that we did not need.
