「Lovely hotel/inn to stay at! The staff were excellent and quite helpful - even with our late arrival. Very comfortable room with private bathroom with shower that works well. Breakfast in the morning was quite good! Thanks for the lovely stay!」

「This hotel needs a complete refurb. The room had old chipped furniture, stained carpet, cracked ceiling & scuffed paintwork. The mattress was lumpy. A latte coffee was £5 came cold, in small glass , two sips & it was gone. Bar area very tired, ripped seating. There's a musty smell of neglect mixed with a sweeter detergent smell, quite unpleasant. We, unfortunately, paid £200 for a night stay expecting a stay worthy of that amount. I would have been disappointed paying half that amount. ...

「The hotel is a few minutes walk from Mallaig train station, and the ferry terminal. There are two supermarkets and a few restaurants around the village so that one can easily get refreshments. I was amazed that the hotel is in a delicate traditional wooden decor, and has a relaxing garden terrace. I also enjoyed the window view a lot! The room was clean and it’s reception was excellent. I strongly recommend anyone who plan to visit any Hebrides islands, give the hotel a chance,.」

「Nice friendly check in, room was lovely with a nice view to mallaig. Food was excellent and reasonably priced as was the wine and lager ( a pint for less than £4 😁).
