"Great staff, particularly the breakfast Waitress. Recently refurbished and renovated.this pub with rooms above provides a great location for exploring southern Ceredigion and north Pembrokeshire. Food was good, sausages at breakfast were my personal favourite. Beers were good and although the pub seemed under used by locals. It is difficult to judge on a couple of mid week nights."

"This hotel was great for a couple of nights in Aberystwyth. The staff were very friendly and efficient. Beds were comfy.Food was great with the cooked breakfast being done to order; nice change. Plus the usual cereal/ croissant buffet for those that don't like cooked.Parking out front is restricted to just 4 hours from 8am - 8pm but we found it useful to park in the unrestricted parking in the street at the back of the hotel.You can access this st via the rear entrance of the hotel. Just a short walk away is the famous cliff railway which is well worth an experience. I recommend this hotel for a few nights in Aberystwyth."

"The room had two relatively minor issues: 1. The toilet flush was terrible. Difficult to flush. Impossible with long flush, hit and miss with short flush. 2. The toilet roll holder was in need of securing. Toilet rolls inevitably fell to the floor when used. As I said these issues were relatively minor but were an ongoing irritant."
