Quinta de Recião has numerous properties. This review is for the one-bedroom cottage (Casa do Moinho - the Mill House) The Mill House is a beautiful property, hosted by beautiful people. The main room has kitchen, table, lounge, small TV and a fire. The separate bedroom has two single beds with an adjoining bathroom. The cottage sits right on the edge of the Rio Varosa (Varosa River) and the sound of running water is peaceful and calming. There is the option to have a home cooked meal personally delivered to the door, with entree, main, dessert and a bottle of wine for just €25/meal. Cheaper than restaurants in the nearest town. And much more convenient

Fabulous rural property

Enrique et Francisca, were very welcoming. Enrique took us around the property and gave us indications on what to visit. Dinner and breakfast were very good. Would definitely go back.

Voorzieningen waren prima. Mooie ligging. Er was een mogelijkheid om eten te bestellen, dat werd aan huis bezorgd op een tray. Enige minpunt was dat de airco, die in alle kamers aanwezig was, veel lawaai maakte en dus de nachtrust verstoorde.

Pretty pretty place along the river

This place is crazy pretty. Little tough to find at night but the owners came to find us and Shepard us back to the place. Nice spot for your trip to the region. Deff would go back

Boa experiência

A quinta está situada em uma região muito bonita, porém um pouco isolada, com acesso somente de carro. A habitação que ficamos era muito bem equipado e confortável, entretanto, por ser feita de pedras e próximas ao Rio, era bem gelada. Acredito que o lugar seja melhor aproveitado no verão. Os donos são extremamentea gentis e educados! Algumas vezes, devido ao local, a energia caiu, mas nada que tenha durado mais de 1 min ou que tenha tirado nosso conforto. O chuveiro era bem quente e as camas bem reforçadas com cobertores. Gostamos bastante de tudo!
