  • The Cameron Park Zoo in Waco, Texas is a terrific zoo! The zoo has a great range of animals and exhibits and the grounds are well kept and spacious. There's lots of shade to keep you somewhat cool during those hot Texan summer months if you visit during that time frame. The animal enclosures are nice, and can really give you great views of the animals themselves if you are a bit patient. This also makes for great photo views, as shown here with this photo of an approaching jaguar. Food and snack prices are also very reasonable, as are prices for souvenirs. This zoo makes for a great day out for the family.

Its an older motel, but I just needed a place to sleep and it was just fine. Happy with the rates, nice big TV, small fridge is nice to keep my travel drinks and snacks cold overnight, would stay here again

This hotel sucked. I couldn’t get any sleep. Person above me would NOT stop blaring music or stop dropping crap on the floor even after being asked to stop. Bed was like sleeping in a CINDER BLOCK. Bathroom you couldn’t even close the door sitting on the toilet. Outlets were broke and a massive crack in the wall.

The place looked pretty shady when we arrived, but I figured being right next to the highway it would be okay. Woke up the next morning to head to our destination and had three cop cars parked out front while they were dragging a person out and entering the room with gloves on. Probably the worst stay ever including the shower not working and the bathroom being tiny and almost impossible to move around in.

It’s not great. A wet towel was on the bathroom floor at our arrival day. No bath mat too. Asked for the replacement and got just one extra towel and not many towels to offer.

Do not stay here.

Absolutely disgusting room. Every sheet was stained, comforter had what was clearly body fluids on it. Sheets were also ancient and had t been washed in God know when. Cigarette smell was baked into the walls, combined with a musty smell that reeked of untreated water damage and mold. Spent all of 3 minutes in that room before returning the key. Staff did not speak, just mimed what they needed signed and where the room was, so getting a refund was out of the question. I understand that it's a low budget motel, but your money is better spent atMotel 6 and any of the "Inns".

Things were ok with the exception of comfort and rest. The bed was as hard as a rock, we were unable to get comfortabld. The curtains were not large or wide enough to block out the light , so you were more or less trying to sleep in the daytime. Other than that it was ok. Would not reccomend to people with back or hip issues, or anyone who cant sleep with lights on.

The place is filthy. I saw online checked in with a service dog. I stayed 3 nights and they refused to clean my room or even change the sheets. I went to the office after being gone all day on Sunday and asked why my room hadn't been cleaned again for the 3rd day and the owner started yelling at me I don’t clean room with dog. I explained I showed his wife service dog documentation when i checked in. He still refused later that evening his wife stopped by with sheets to change the bed i showed her the animals bed it stayed and that the dog had caused no problems. She apologized but i said forget changing the sheets I was checking out the next day. The hotel is infested with crickets crawling all over the place and dead one's on the floor they wouldn't even sweep the floor when i was gone. They told me when i checked in the dog wasn't a problem but it wasn't allowed to be left alone in the room alone and my dog never was but still never cleaned the room.

Found bugs alive and dead in the bed. Not sure if they where bed bugs or just bugs. The door had a crack in it so wind an bugs could get in easy. The area felt unsafe an i was afraid my vehicle would be broken into.
