La Jolla Shores Hotel

8/10 Good

"We appreciate that the property has been around for quite some time making the location ideal -beach access couldn’t be better! Some areas of the hotel show more signs of age more than others. For instance in our room there was a chair with a broken leg that was just propped back up but since we didn’t use this chair, it wasn’t an issue for us and figured the staff must have known about this too. The view was very good from our balcony and in the room the sheets and towels were crisp and clean. At reception, I asked if I could use a microwave to warm up a croissant and they kindly offered to put a microwave in our room - we really appreciated that! The outdoor property maintenance gentlemen were so polite, holding a door open for me even though they were busy doing a great job at cleaning and pruning. The staff at the beach setting up the umbrellas and chair were the best! They were always happy to help! We did not use the pool or restaurant but the staff seemed welcoming all around. Overall we really enjoyed our stay!"

Lakehouse Resort

"We stayed in room 7103. Clean room, 7/10. Stains on carpet and couch. Towels too rough. Bed was too firm, I couldn’t sleep well. Temps not so great, definitely have to lower yourself. Makes the room musty when not cool. 7/10 We didn’t request an ADA room but got one anyway. Shower head was Kohler, 10/10 but water is so easy to flow into the bathroom floor with the ADA set up. Walls too thin, had to complain about neighbor screaming loud sporadically, playing a game with his kids. Amenities are wonderful. Coffee place was great, but sometimes the door is locked during hours of operation - you have to check the front desk for service. I would stay here again for the amenities."

LEGOLAND California Hotel

8/10 Good

"Wish they had washer and dryer to use at the legoland hotel they had one at the castle available if needed just not convenient The elevator broke on night 4 we were there The ac was broken the 1st night we were there but they fixed it the next day The breakfast was pretty good they tried to change it up a bit We did try the dinner it was not bad pretty good choices very expensive though The kids loved the hotel lobby Sad pool closes at 8 would be nice if stayed open til at least 930 or 10"

The Encinitan Hotel & Suites

8/10 Good

"Room was spacious, clean with very comfortable beds. Kitchenette made meals easy. The Breakfast room gets is a little over-crowded, but the coffee was pretty good. The spa was not working while I was there. Fitness center was adequate for a good cardio/weight workout. Hotel location is great for visiting the beach. Happy that we chose this hotel for our stay."
