Upon check in, we were given our keys from the friendly front desk staff. We had booked a deluxe king suite but when we accessed the room, it was a standard room and it smelled of urine. We went back down to the front desk and informed them of the urine smell and also that the room was not what we had booked. After a few short moments, the friendly front desk staff were able to verify that we had booked the upgraded room and keys were given to our new room with assigned parking.
Our deluxe king room 101 was clean, but it also had a strong odor of pine sol and possibly vomit? By this time we were irritated and ended up leaving to go to dinner and the evening we had planned.
Upon returning we tried to access the TV, but the remote wasn't working. We called front desk and a nice lady brought a handful of remotes for us to try, but none of them worked. We ended up watching a show on our cell phones.
The patio/balcony was nice, but the slider door was hard to open/close and the wall was coming apart from the frame on the inside of the unit.
The couch, desk chair and outdoor seating all had white crusty stains and the king size bed was so FIRM we both had trouble sleeping and were ready to leave as fast as we could to get back home and get some sleep.
For the amount of money that we paid for this "suite" it left much to be desired. The staff were extremely friendly, but the property in general needs some attention.
Pretty disappointed in the suite - loved the staff!
