The rooms were dated, the mattress awful, staff was friendly the odor of marijuana and mildew was overpowering. The bar and pool and outdoor sitting area closed at 10 vacationing people want that stuff open would have been nice to sit at the tiki bar by the fire

This is a great bargain, little dated but clean! I would definitely stay here again! The internet was awful! Kept going in and out, but I believe it’s that area, not the resort! The only other complaint is that we booked the Polynesian show with a girl at front desk and it wasn’t explained to us that you could see the show without having dinner and the price wasn’t explained. They do hire a lot of foreigners in the area. We assumed we were paying &30 plots for dinner/show ands got the bill and were surprised! Maybe our fault, but it would have been nice if the girl had explained the difference in pricing. Lesson learned! But overall, it was a great stay and would stay here again!

It seems like the older hotel did a really good job with keeping it updated. The pool was amazing they also have an indoor pool. The bathroom was updated the toilet was a magic flush excellent rooms for the price highly would recommend

It was clean and the staff was friendly. The Tiki dinner was fun but the price was a bit high. Maybe lowering the price for dinner would attract my guest, especially if the drinks are expensive too?! Our stay was pleasant. I would book there again.

this hotel was a disgusting mess. There is mold everywhere. There was no hot water for two days. There is stains everywhere in the hallways. The shower makes a sound like a foghorn when you turn it on there is filth in every corner in the bathroom when you check in, don’t you usually get clean towels and your rum cleaned three days I had to go find toilet paper and towels off cart because no one cleaned my room and neither Expedia or this hotel will talk with me and issue me a refund. I’m going to go to the BBB the border health and consultant attorney.

The wing we were in had issues. The card code would not work at Door B. The landing for the door was not large enough to open the door and stand on the landing. I wear a size 2 1/2 shoe and my foot would not fit on the steps from Door 2. The bathroom had mildew around the tub and the shower curtain holder was rusty. The AC unit smelled musty. The odor once you stepped out of the room hit you of mold and mildew. No one provided us with the wifi password on check in. "Breakfast available" was a small shop for grab n go. The location was convenient. We were promised a "lake view" room - no such rooms exist.

poor service at the Bar...they close a 8h30 and the firepit was closed too... i'm asking to the bartender to start the fire, she said only 30 minutes??? after she start it , 10 persons comes to the fire.. for 30minutes...lol OKTOBERFEST week end

Spent Oktoberfest weekend at the Tiki, 3 levels of rooms our was located at basement level. No screens in the windows which open but don’t lock. Not very secure for sure. Could hear the water in the pipes from above, quite loud. The heater/air conditioner was very noisy! Low ceilings. Would recommend staying in an upper level if possible. Indoor/outdoor pool. Restaurant on premises but we were there the last weekend before closing for the season so the offerings were very scarce. Decent shower and bed (full size).
