We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, They called to confirm our check in and verify our arival time so they could have the heat on in the room. Everything was pristine and very comfortable. We.couldnt have been happier and will definatly use them for future trips to that area. The cabin was absolutely perfect. Highly recomend them to everyone.

The property was great for a weekend in lake George and within walking distance to town. The pool area was very nice and my kids loved it. The staff was very friendly along with the cleaning staff. We will definitely return.

I'll keep coming back!

The Brookside is darn peppy with a great location on the edge of town. It's nice and comfy, with friendly owners and a great location next to the brook. Still has old-school charm without the rough edges that a lot of seasonal-town resorts tend to have. Noce pool, too.

A well-kept, classic old Lake George Motel! Owners were super nice and helpful and I had a great nights sleep! Comfy new mattresses and updated bathroom….cozy and attractive property with places to enjoy the babbling brook and bbq. Pool looked great but we didn’t get a chance to try it. Our room was comfortable and very clean. Bed were comfortable, bathroom was clean and updated. AC worked great. Plenty of hot water. Grounds had several grills and picnic tables under a covering. Grounds were immaculate and very well maintained.

The staff was very friendly. The room was good for what it was, and the price was fair. It was definitely outdated. Some bugs in the room, but that’s expected when it’s so close to the woods. There was a bit of a mix up with payment and the owner took care of everything with kindness and courtesy. We needed to leave early due to illness and they continued to be courteous. We will definitely be going back and staying at the Brookside.

If you don’t want to spend a lot of money for lodging and just want to have more money for activities in Lake George, this is the place to stay. The accommodations are satisfactory…you will have to share a kitchen, but for the money this is a good option. Lake George is expensive and if you’re the type of person that will only be in their room to sleep or change clothes, this place is an excellent choice. It’s not the Mariot, but it’s great for the budget conscious. For what it is, I’d give it 7.9 out of 10.
