Booked sort of last minute for a lacrosse tournament and was happy to find a place that was reasonably priced for our family of 5. Check in was easy. Though I had paid in full through Expedia I was charged again at check in (my fault for not remembering!). As soon as I realized it I went back to the main office and they reimbursed me right away. Location to the village was a decent walk (10 minutes, uphill when coming back!) but right off the highway which is what we needed. The cabin was basic but clean. 2 out of 3 beds were comfortable. The one my husband and I slept on was all springs and very uncomfortable. We did not use the pool or hang around too much. It wasn’t luxurious by any means but did the trick.

We were just in Lake George for an overnight. They had 2 outdoor pools which we did not use as the weather was on the cool side. The property was clean and appeared to be well maintained. Our room was very small. We had the king bedroom which was just big enough for the King bed one night stand and a dresser unit which held a mini fridge a microwave a coffee pot and a small toaster oven ( which is not something you usually see in a motel room. ) The bathroom was very small but had been updated with a good size walk in shower. I believe the water for the shower was regulated so you could not really get a good hot shower. The bathroom itself did not have heat so a Luke warm shower was not that comfortable. The bathroom sink was just that no room to put your bathroom essentials. I was also glad that I had taken my heat brush to dry my hair as there was no hair dryer either. The room itself had been updated with vinyl plank floors which were in good shape. The bed itself was comfortable enough especially for my husband as he prefers a softer mattress. I personally prefer a firmer mattress but this is a matter of opinion. We were checking out early however the office is only open from 10 am to 6 pm and there was no drop box for the physical key. I called the phone number on the door to inform them of our check out and that I would be leaving the key in the room. Check out was 10am and a late fee of $50 would be charged.

The room was clean, although the cleanliness could have been better. The location is peaceful and beautiful, and the pool was absolutely amazing. Overall, this is a great place for families or a group of friends. We really enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere and would definitely recommend it.
