Un bel hotel con un’accoglienza familiare. Le camere non sono moderne, ma il bagno e’ comodo ed ha una moderna doccia. Il posto è un po’ lontano dalle rotte turistiche, il ristorante è comodo con atmosfera . I piatti vanno ordinati prima e la signora prepara la cena . La colazione viene cucinata calda con piatti completi, yogurt buono e toast.

A nice hotel situated off the beaten track but convenient for those driving the NC500. The drive to get to The Drumbeg (I drove from Bettyhill) was incredible- and probably the highlight for me! The hotel was comfortable and had a homely feel to it but other comments of it being quite dated are right. Delicious home cooked evening meal but incredibly pricey- but seems to be the norm for hotels like these (small menu, well cooked, expensive). Hotel was quiet and had all you need for a quiet stopover.

A well appointed and modern hotel with very welcoming owners. Fabulous views from the hotel dining room across a small loch and a few hundred yards away across Eddrachillis Bay. Great breakfast - clean and comfortable room and parking right outside.

Friendly hosts and staff.very clean and comfortable. Breakfast excellent. Added bonus was the bar! Evening meal filling and tasty. Would recommend a stay her. Plus the views were amazing. Very relaxing stay.

This place is in an isolated area but a good stop over on nc 500 for day trips to summer isles and the Drumbeg loop. The hotel is old and lacks lighting. Very dark but clean. Room was good. Comfortable bed. If you cannot carry big suitcases upstairs ask for room on flat as it was difficult. Parking just across the road Rarely saw anyone in the hotel only at breakfast and dinner time. You need to order dinner well in advance as no were around to eat. Good home cooked breakfast and dinner. Owners very quiet.

Right from opening the door, we were welcomed by Richard and had a comfortable cute room.. we did have twin beds but we had had a long drive from Skye with many stops so it was welcome rest. The facility had a lot of space that was available to use and many interesting books and travel magazines to use for planning and learning purposes. Fiona made wonderful meals of local treats and I even tried a couple of Highland scotch from a well- stocked bar. I enjoyed the sites around very much! The Drumbeg loop was well-worth the extra time it took and weathering the storm at the Drumbeg Hotel was cosy and felt safe.

We had a wonderful stay at the Drumbeg Hotel. Richard and Fiona were incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our visit and made us feel right at home. Our room was absolutely spotless and maintained to a very high standard. The food was amazing – clearly home cooked with great quality and care put into every meal. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return in the future. We would highly recommend staying here if you’re doing the NC500 – it’s a fantastic place to stop and made our trip even more memorable.

This such a lovely hotel, run by a lovely couple. It’s not the most luxurious of hotels and the rooms are basic but super clean and comfy. The location is special (as is the road to get to it) and the couple who run it do so in exemplary fashion. They are convivial hosts, super helpful and cook some of the best food we’ve eaten on this trip. It looks humble but we think it was one of the best stays on our nc500 trip. Thank you.

Drumbeg is a tiny town, but we were very pleased with our one-night stay. Owners were very courteous. We had one of the best dinners of our entire trip, alone with great food, great views, and Scottish music playing (everywhere else plays American music). Then we went to the bar for some drinks, good chats, and some pool. We even got a takeout breakfast since we left early. Would gladly stay there again.
