「Spent 4 days and 4 nights at Hotel del Lago with my wife for a vacation and to golf. The staff was great, extremely helpful and hospitable. The building is a bit run down, as mentioned in other reviews, so that was expected. Could definitely use a deep cleaning, but we were there in the Spring so may have had some lingering winter dust to knock off. The breakfast was good, standard Uruguayan resort breakfast from our experience, the dinner had some good dishes too, and with Punta del Lago 20...

The property is very well designed with well-decorated rooms, a peaceful outdoor pool and garden, and a fantastic brutalist indoor pool. What stood out however was the attentiveness of the staff - they went as far as to let us know when the pool was free of children, received some critical deliveries, and were overall very kind for the duration of our stay. 」
