We loved staying here! The villas are beautiful, the staff is so kind and helpful, the pool is great and we also enjoyed having breakfast and dinner on days we didn’t feel like venturing anywhere. The beach is only a few minutes walk down the hill and it’s an incredible beach! We truly loved this place!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The reception and staff were all very friendly and gave us some helpful tips. The kids loved the proximity to the world class beach as well as to a lively yet laid back town. We were sad to leave.

Super stay with kid friendly pool!

Lovely stay with our boys (8 and 10years old). The villa was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the option of either cooking in the villa or buffet dinner at the hotel. Very close (5minutes walk) to Porto dos Mos beach which is a beautiful sandy beach and a 5minute drive to the town centre.

We had a great stay at Clube Porto Mos. Our rooms were spacious and had all of the amenities in the kitchen that we required for our stay. The hotel had two restaurants within walking distance on the beach and close to trails for walking. The bus stop into town was conveniently located and easy to manage. The front desk staff were very friendly and eager to assist with our questions. This hotel has a deal with a rental car agency with very responsible rates and they deliver the car and pick up the car right from the hotel, that was an amazing perk for us. Enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.

Older—clean and spacious

At the end of our tour to Portugal, we felt a relaxing beach hotel in Lagos would be nice. It’s nice to buy quality food and prepare it in your own apartment. We were on the ground floor with a little partial view of the ocean. Love the old deep tub! The rooms reminded me of Florida—large tiled flooring and a low bed—comfortable though.!both rooms have sliding doors. You definitely need a car to visit other villages. The boardwalk at Ponte da Piedade is marvellous and easy to walk to see the cliffs.

We loved close access to the beach and cliffs. Easy access to the bus and a small grocery store was within walking distance. The gardens of the resort are beautiful! However, the bathrooms in the apartments need to be updated. They are old and need repairs. Otherwise the apartments we’re comfortable.

We did not like the ants that was in the apartment, especially in the bathroom area. Reception staff are professional. Although we did not use the restaurant but i was there every morning for a cup of coffee. The restaurant staff could be more friendlier. One recommendation in the apartment, if possible, add some condiments essentials like salt, pepper and olive oil, paper napkin as a kitchen amenity.

The mature gardens and classic building style ensures this hotel to be a favourite for many people and this gave it a sense of quiet and peace. The pool area was lovely. I did not use the restaurant, however the bar snacks were good. The view to the beach is stunning and the position is good although a 35 minute walk into town. Perhaps some bathroom extras would be appreciated by some such as shampoo/ shower gel. Overall a lovely stay and reception staff were extremely helpful. I would highly recommend.

The accommodation was in walking distance to a great beach. The waves were perfect for surfers. It took half an hour to walk into town which is fine for us as we like walking. There are also a couple of great coastal walks. We walked one which took you into Lagos. The apartment was spacious and reasonably equipped. The kitchen however does not have an oven which makes cooking a bit more difficult. Beds made on most days and apartment cleaned regularly. Nice pool area but beds not very comfortable. Would recommend.

All the important things were great in my opinion - clean, well-located, spacious apartment in a lovely complex that was beautifully landscaped. Nice pool & snack bar. Free parking for when we hired a car. It would be perfect to have a few extras such as coffee filter papers, basics such as olive oil, salt & pepper, some decent sized glasses, wooden spoon, dustpan & brush etc. but all that was manageable. It would be good to be able to pass on things like parasols to others, with similar system to the used books area in reception. The staff were great, the beach so close by and we had a really wonderful holiday.

The location is great. Very close to a nice beach. The staff was very helpful with tour bookings and local recommendations. The property grounds are nice. The rooms are large and well ventilated with big bathrooms. Lots of space for family time. The downer was the room furnishings. The beds and bedding are sub-standard and really need updating. The lack of comfy bed and nice sheets negates all the other good points. The hotel can really use updating the furniture and furnishings.
