We really enjoyed our stay and Marlene was amazing! I am only taking a star off (really wish it could only be half a star off) because the bathroom in the space was a little unique. It is very clean, but it is not in a separate location, just in the bedroom with glass dividers. It worked for us, but just different. Everything else was amazing. The location was great, the food was incredible and everyone was so nice and helpful!

Marlene and her husband Conny serve fantastic BIG breakfasts; really delicious. Our room was fine with very good amenities. Being located between Lagos and Luz gave us the ability to explore both area easily.

Casa Luisandra was a great choice for us. It was close to the beach, restaurants, and shopping but a quiet haven to return to at the end of the day. The breakfasts were delicious and just the ticket to get the day off to a great start. The pool and surrounds were awesome as were the hosts.

Casa Luisandra is a true gem. The owners, Marlene and Conny, are not only cheerful, helpful and absolutely lovely, they're also fantastic chefs. Their breakfasts are the best ever! Prepare to be spoiled if you decide to stay at Casa Luisandra.

Wonderful B&B managed by Marlene and Connie, who were exceptionally welcoming hosts. The breakfast was delicious. Good quiet location away from Luz, but the town is a short drive away and just a 25 minute walk. The B&B also has two cats.

The host and hostess put a lot of love into making you welcome. The breakfast is made with all fresh organic produce and lots of healthy surprises. We didn’t want to leave breakfast. The property is well maintained. This was the best out of all the five hotels we stayed in traveling around Portugal.

Where does one begin to even say how amazing one's stay at Casa Luisandra Boutique Hotel B&B is :) Your hosts, Marlene & Conny, I remain speechless. They are so wonderful and welcoming to their home. I tip my hat to them because they look after their worldwide guests in an extra special way. I could write a novel on the entire stay but one simply needs to venture to their property to experience top-notch, first-class treatment at every turn. The morning 'surprise' juice shot, fresh smoothie and orange juice was something I so looked forward to. Breakfast every morning... WOW! I was fortunate to stay with Marlene & Conny for a week and cannot wait to return. I am in the tourism industry so this review is genuine. I so enjoyed unwinding by their beautiful pool each afternoon and the views from everywhere throughout their property were breathtaking. Marlene & Conny, thank you so much for making my home away from home so welcoming. Martin :)

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Luisandra. The quiet backyard with a clean pool, comfy lounge chairs, well kept grounds and the pleasant smell of the fig tree felt like a little oasis, that made us relax just within a few hours after arriving. We walked to the next town with wonderful restaurants or to the beach every day or did go on hikes. If you are looking for a quiet place that is still close to a lot of fun things to do, Casa Luisandra is your place. The breakfast was as good as all the other reviews promised. We enjoyed the daily healthy shots, the smoothie and surprises a lot. I actually do have some food intolerances and am therefore on a very limited diet. I asked beforehand if there’s an option for gluten free bread or if I should bring something. Marlene and Conny actually baked homemade gluten free bread and rolls for me, also they adjusted the daily surprises so I could have them too! Anyone on a limited diet knows how much that means, I actually had tears in my eyes saying bye on the last day. The rooms, bathrooms and grounds are very clean and well kept. I actually think it was the first vacation place I stayed, where I did not feel uncomfortable using the shower or walking bare foot! There are a couple of things that come naturally with staying at a lot of vacation destinations, like changing or hard to control water temperature or thin walls. Since everything else was so perfect, this would be complaining on a very high level though. Thanks again!

Absolutely outstanding. We decided to start our Portugal holiday in the Algarve and I couldn’t be happier that we found Casa Luisandra! Peaceful, clean, refreshing pool, close to sites and restaurants but just out enough to feel extremely private. The hosts were friendly and always helpful and the made to order breakfast was always a pleasure! Especially the morning juice shot and smoothie! Hope to return one day.

Amazing boutique B&B with a pool, no kids

Amazing boutique B&B, lovely hosts! Wonderful boutique B&B in a lovely part of the Algarve. The hosts are lovely and made our five day stay very special. Our room (Nr 2) was large and faced the pool. The pool is fantastic, very quiet (no kids in this B&B!) and there is no fight for sun beds. We spent a lot of time under the huge fig tree by the pool. Breakfast was always excellent, with daily surprises and a nice selection of food (also healthy options eg musli, fruits, seeds etc). The B&B is a 20 min walk from Luz centre and a five min drive to Lagos. This area is great if you want yo avoid the crowds and mass tourism.

Amazing breakfast!

We had a lovely stay at Casa Luisandra. This B&B style place had a lovely couple serving us every day. The place looks great, with a great pool area with a small pool great for a cooling dip. Our room did not have it's own bathroom which we weren't aware of (it was stated in the confirmation e-mail though). We mentioned this to the owner as we checked out, and she mentioned that had we said this, we would've gotten a different room. Our fault entirely. I got to tell you fellow traverlers - breakfast at this place is beyond amazing. Fresh food, eggs however you like them and enough food for days. All in all - would recommend 10/10.

Mooie en rustige locatie op wandelafstand van het dorpje Luz (en voor de avonturiers lukt Lagos ook wel). Huurauto is aangeraden om de ruimere omgeving te verkennen.

Toller Aufenthalt

Wir können das Casa Luisandra nur loben. Freundliche Besitzer, die alles managen und ein tolles frühstück mit täglich wechselnden Leckereien servieren. Die Zimmer sind sehr chic. Wir hatten eine Dachterrasse mit Extrabett darauf, so dass wir in der Nacht die Sterne sehen konnten. Das einzige kleine Manko war die Nespressomaschine, da hätte man sich ein umweltfreundlicheres System überlegen können. Ansonsten waren wir sehr sehr sehr zufrieden.

What an amazing experience

What a wonderful stay, Marlene the owner and her husband take care of all your needs. This isnt your classic hotel stay. You are basically staying with friends. Highlights: Breakfast is insanely awesome, The barbecue station we used for charcoal grilling has everything you need, the two rooms that go out to the pool are amazing. I would recommend a car to be more mobile from there. Oh and wild horses live outside.
