NEVER AGAIN.

I WILL NEVER BOOK AGAIN. I understand policies and rules but you can’t even have a normal conversation without your voice carrying throughout the entire building which apparently is considered “making noise” to the owners which results in them texting you AAALLLLLLL NIGHT. AND THREATENING TO CALL POLICE. This lady is renting out lofts just to collect and keep people’s deposits due to what she considers “noise”. Too bad y’all forgot to collect my deposit anyway. I was so disgusted I left in the middle of the night because she was annoying me with text messages and emails.

This uninvited guest decided to join us. 1st thing I seen among checking the restroom.

This room did not have a lock on the exterior door of the room that was not able to be properly secured from the inside or the outside. This space was rented to me in spite of the fact that the property managers were aware of this fact. Also the space was not as pictured and the "amenities" include dead house plants and stained, damaged furnishing. I cancelled this reservation after arriving, reporting the safety issue to the management and being offered a substitute loft that did not meet the bed requirements of my initial reservation.

Nearly excellent.

The loft was nice, clean, and spacious, but I can't rate the comfort highly because one of the street windows was broken and couldn't be closed. We stayed on a weekend so it was very noisy and loud late into the night making it hard to get to sleep. Would have otherwise been an excellent stay. Also, the communication was great.

Ok...great Location!

We stayed in unit 2....The space is nice but would say the whole place could use a good spring cleaning. Dusty and water/food stains everywhere. Not as clean as a typical hotel would be. The furniture was dusty and worn as well. I can't say this is the same for all the units....I assume this is how the owners of the this unit keep it up and the management there cleans between rentals....Just detailed as hotel cleaning service. I would however stay there again...these aren't always deal killers for me. The bed and sheets were nice and clean and that's what counts the most.

Lafayette stay

Great room. Spacious. Cool design. Comfortable beds. Great service. Could hear guests through walls very clearly and outside commotion so it was hard to sleep. Close to downtown within walking distNce of all nightlife. Free parking.

Not for business

I give this place 5 stars for leisure. Great location and set up; walking distance to art galleries, restaurants, and bars. I do not recommend this place for business. No wifi, off site parking, doesn't cater towards those with disabilities, no elevator.

loft 5 one night

stayed in Loft 5. extremely large and comfortable room, bigger than many suites I have stayed in. no staff on-site mostly, you confirm a checkin time and they want you there then. staff was there when I arrived and were friendly. secure place. no elevator, all rooms on 2nd floor. complete kitchen, and tv viewing from a sofa and chair. eating seating for 3

Our stay at Buchanan Lofts

As other guests have mentioned, there was no one at the desk upon arrival or during our stay. The owner/manager, contacted by phone, did get a nice 18 year old to carry our heavy luggage up the many stairs. She is helpful with directions for making the thermostat work (it was unusually cold in Louisiana), recommending restaurants and music venues. The neighborhood is safe but needs rejuvenation. It was difficult to find a store that sold milk. The rooms are well decorated and quite comfortable.

FLEE, UNACCEPTABLE --> DIRTY, NO SERVICE

Don't come here !!!!! Nobody at the lobby when we arrived, obliged to wait one hour after a phone call to have the key which will just be put on the desk. NOBODY to welcome you!! The enter code is sent by mail...If you don't have 3G phone, think to find a wifi access if you want to enter... Just one towel for two persons. It s beautiful but very very dirty : Lipstick on pillows Dust and fingers' traces everywhere 3 soap dispensers but all EMPTY Toilet paper already in the basin Hair & hairs on the floor Dirty plates in the dishwasher Very cold in the "loft", powerless heating I ve sent a mail to the manager because nobody in this "Loft" lobby. Just a response after we leave : "it's not my problem because the housekeeper was in training : i ll reprimand her." UNACCEPTABLE FOR THE PRICE. They refuse to refund us ; they wrote us that they don t earn enough money because i book this hotel on your site !! SO DON'T GO THERE, it s the worth night of our trip.
