La Vacama Vacation Rentals

"We stayed for 7 days and overall had a great experience. The rooms were clean, the staff provided excellent service, and there was a wide variety of really good food options. The beaches and pools were also amazing. However, I’m giving 3 out of 5 stars due to a serious incident near our room on the second-to-last night. A nearby guest was extremely disruptive—yelling, throwing objects, and it even sounded like another person was being assaulted. A guest was screaming “help” and “stop” while crying. I called concierge twice during the night, and they claimed that they sent security both times. However, the situation continued throughout the night. It was very frightening and we were stuck listening to banging and screaming of the disruptive guest. (We were unable to sleep that night as well which ruined the last 2 days of our stay since we had this traumatizing experience) The next morning, we informed our butler, who contacted security again to check on them. Despite this, the disruptive behavior continued into the morning. We later learned from our butler that the guest had multiple complaints and was only given a “final warning” since the next one would be his “3rd strike”. In my opinion, the resort should have stricter policies for handling situations like this and not give a guest “3 strikes”. Behavior that is potentially violent or dangerous should not be tolerated at all, especially in a resort setting."

"The staff seemed bothered to even help or be happy that we were there. We had false promises and let down on reservations after two people came up to us, got us to join them on what’s app. The amenities are great. But, what is promised is not what is. No service eon the beach. Putt putt you have to have a reservation and they have chipping clubs not even putters. All Other resorts putt putt is open all night. There they close at 5. No one is doing that when the sun is out and it is beach time and so hit. Basketball have to reserve. They had one ball. The girl thought it was so funny. More need to speak English. Crazy they only spoke Spanish. Food was ok. Often. Couldn’t get many types of drinks. Bottom line. No one on the staff cared that we picked them out of all Places in the world. It was as if you were bothering them to help you. Empty promises leaving us with no reservations. and said we were getting things that they never gave. Beach was beautiful and fun activities at the pool. Loved the Rio restaurant and nighttime activities. Loved. "

"I had a very enjoyable experience. From the moment I arrived, everything was designed to make the stay as relaxing and stress-free as possible. Check-in was smooth, and I was immediately welcomed when I entered the doors, which set the tone for the rest of the trip. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a nice view and daily housekeeping that kept everything in great condition. The entertainment at the resort was also amazing especially the Michael Jackson show."
