This hotel was a great find! It’s situated on the harbour front with easy access to everything - station, buses, boat trips and the lovely old city. Staff are friendly and attentive. The room was clean and spacious with a comfy bed and had shutters which helped a good night’s sleep. The heated outdoor pool is a real bonus. We had a lovely stay!

Hotel très bien rénové, personnel très accueillant, professionnel. Situation sur le vieux port idéale, parking privé à proximité, très bien géré. Adresse recommandée, si nous repassons à La Rochelle, c'est l'hôtel que nous choisirons.

Lovely location by the old harbour, ideal for a drink on the front although slightly challenging with a car but they do have parking nearby. Room a little small especially the toilet but nice overlooking the pool which is very nicely heated enough to be pleasant to use. A problem with the lovely powerful shower drenching the bathroom floor and out onto the carpet on first day, reported to reception in the morning and said that although we had said no need to clean we needed to change that. The housekeeper didn’t come to clean up until late afternoon and then we didn’t see them again even though we left the clean me sign on the door, so no service or coffee top ups etc. Breakfast buffet has a good range but the hot food was cold and it’s a cramped area. Kept fit by having to climb three flights of stairs as the life broke on the second day and wasn’t fixed for the remainder of our stay.

Lovely view across La Rochelle from our 5th floor room. Great that the hotel has parking nearby, makes a stress free visit if you're traveling by car. Great pool which is heated making it ideal for a morning swim. Staff extremely helpful. Drinks in bar slightly more expensive than locally but good quality.

Everything was perfect. The personal super kind and always suggesting help or if we need anything. The pool is amazing. Breakfast super food quality and diverse from salty to sugary breakfast. The room are very mice and well designed. And no place can be more at the center of the old port to enjoy the atmosphere and so many things to do by walk distance. We will return for sure

This was an excellent hotel in every way. The location is excellent, the staff was super helpful and friendly, the rooms were well out fitted and extremely clean, and the lobby bar was small but appreciated. Our room looked as if it had been recently redone as did the rest of the hotel. I would stay here again anytime.
