Go fishing for tuna, roosterfish and dorado among the enormous catches found in this part of the sea. Stroll along the shore with your family and enjoy the views of the bay. La Ribera Beach has safe and shallow water that is ideal for kids. Take shelter from the afternoon heat in the shade of thatched palapas.
Near the beach, rent equipment for kayaking and sport fishing. Stand-up paddleboarding and snorkeling are among the popular activities here, along with biking and hiking. Try the seafood at one of the beachside restaurants that provide vistas of the bay.

Head a little southeast along the coast to reach Punta Colorada Beach. Admire the rock formations rising from the rear of this remote stretch of sand. As you walk southeast along the strand, you’ll reach the defunct Punta Arena Lighthouse, which has black and white stripes.
Find La Ribera at the northern end of the East Cape at the foot of the Baja California Peninsula. Arrive via one of the airports in the region and drive here by rental car. You can leave your vehicle in the parking lot at the back of the beach. Make sure to visit nearby highlights, such as Cabo Pulmo and San José del Cabo.
