That said, reaching the hotel is a bit of an adventure: the steep, winding road up requires some confidence, especially when navigating the occasional oncoming car in the dark. The only thing I could see that might turn people off is the staff don't all speak English fluently, but as a French speaker myself, I found them to be very considerate and lovely. "We had a wonderful stay at Le Saint Alexis. The location was perfect and the beach access was exceptional! Our room was very comfortable and had a beautiful balcony overlooking the pool area. We were three adults traveling - me, my husband, and our daughter. I was pleasantly surprised with the spacious room. "Spacious, well appointed rooms with well stocked kitchen area. Situated on the lagoon where you xan swim. Pool did get a little busy, used mainly by families but generally managed to get sunbed on the beach. Staff were exceptionally halpful and friendly, making us feel very welcome."

"While the staff is very pleasant and the property clean, there is almost no internet speed, the area around the hotel is made up of apartment and thus noisy late at night with kids shouting. There is only 1 small restaurant at walking distance. You need car to get to beach and the pics from hotel misleading. i would recommend hotel for 1 to 2 day max, not 15 like we book and we left 2 days in our stay but hotel refused the refund (as per policy)"
