It’s a short walk to the La Línea Bus Station and Gibraltar frontier and right next to the main shopping streets of La Línea. Check in was quick and the room was very comfortable. It was an excellent value for the location and amenities provided.

The room smelt of cigarettes, the bedding, the towels, even the toilet paper smelt of smoke. The bed was so skweaky we had to put the mattress on the floor to be able to sleep. It was cheap, one star, we didn't expect anything but basic but that is no excuse for the smell

This is a hostel, I realize people are writing a lot of negative comments but this was fine for a hostel- towels and bedsheets were clean and the front desk was nice

Disappointing hostel experience. The oversight of a shared toilet aside, the room was dreary and emitted an unpleasant odor. When seeking an upgrade to a room with a private bathroom , the receptionist initially declined, asserting no availability. However, a suspicious turn of events occurred when he called hours later, citing a sudden vacancy due to a no-show. Skeptical of the timing, it was already too late, I already booked and paid another hotel, sacrificing my prepaid two-night stay here. Cheap proved costly.

if you are sensitive careful because they use cleaning product so strong and sticky. second thing neighbor room talking so loud night ttime . i asked hotel please i need to sleep . tell them to be quiet. but hotel guy told us if 1:00 am then i help . not before time .

Excellent budget hotel
Great hotel for the price, which is very budget friendly. Noise on front street could be problematic for some so ask for a back room if it bothers you. Hotel is in a great location.5 minutes walk to a lovely beach, and 10 to the Gibraltar border and airport.

Much Better than I Expected
For a budget property, this was much, much better than I expected. The management was incredibly friendly, the room had a TV and air conditioner, and it was quiet. It's around the corner from an incredibly pleasant square, there is a grocery store around the other corner, and it is just 10-15 minutes to the La Linea bus terminal and the border to Gibraltar. I would definitely recommend this as a cost-effective place to stay if you are visiting Gibraltar.

Family Summer Holiday.
Hostal Paris was very central convenient for us as, we could visit linea Spain. Hostal Paris was also a 10 minute walk to Gibraltar Airport, we can see sights in both Linea and Gibraltar. Hostal Paris rooms were clean, with a very polite pleasant customer service.

The location was great. There were a lot of restaurants around, and a supermarket 5 minutes away. To get to Gibraltar was a 10 minute walk. The front desk staff was always friendly. My only complaints are that the Wi-Fi did not work anywhere but at the entrance. They claimed that it was my devices, both of them, which connected beautifully at the entrance, the shared bathroom kept running out of toilet paper and since the rooms are nonsmoking, the guests smoked in the hallways.

Great value for price!
The owner/operator David and his family operate the establishment and they were very pleasant during my entire stay. If you arrive late past midnight, you can ring a doorbell outside the Hostel and a staff member will come to the door and let you in. My departure flight was at 7pm but checkout is typically by noon, however David permitted my late checkout until 3pm so I wouldn’t have to wait around at nearby airport in Gibraltar. Overall I would recommend this Hostel because of its separate private small room for the price and value. Most Hostel’s are dormitory style where you are sharing one room with 3-8 people for the same price as what I paid for my private single room.

The staff were very accomodating it was great to have an economical stay. Great location close to ammenities where we could walk over the boarder or drive just as easy.

I booked and prepaid for 3 nights through Expedia and after I checked out the clerk came running down the street claiming I had only panic for two nights. I had to get to the airport so had no time to argue with him so just paid to get him off my back. It’s very very basic, in my room the bathroom door only opened half way because the toilet obstructed it. So typical of Spanish building standards. What building standards!!!!
