"We had a most enjoyable stay at the Astoria. The hotel was conveniently located for us close to the train station (Brignole) and a walkable distance to the old town. The staff were extremely accommodating and the room was clean and comfortable. Would recommend highly."

"This review is for the Hotel Continental’s sister hotel, Hotel Grand Savoia, as we were upgraded to that hotel before arriving in Genoa. Check-in was seamless, the room was very well appointed with a super comfortable bed, and service was top notch. We almost missed checkout and our noon train departure time due to sleeping two hours later than planned due to the comfort and darkness (blackout shades) of the hotel room. This hotel, as well as the Continental, are steps away from the main train terminal in Genoa, and an easy walk to the terminal. We would definitely stay again if traveling through Genoa."

"El hotel es antiguo, pero está muy bien mantenido; lo mejor que tiene es la ubicación desde donde uno llega caminando a lugares turísticos como el Porto Antico y la Plazza Ferrari; el personal tuvo una atención "normal"; ni muy amable y tampoco desagradable, haciendo la salvedad con Antonio, quien nos recibió al llegar y nos dio todas las indicaciones necesarias y más. El desayuno muy bueno, el lugar amplio y la variedad justa; ni mucha ni poca. La habitación y cama bien amplias, como también el baño, sólo que con tanto espacio disponible el lugar de la ducha quizás podría ampliarse, ya que resulta extremadamente pequeño al cerrar el cubículo. Buena relación precio/calidad."

A/C worked very well, very convenient location for subway, food, bus, etc. I had an issue with bath tub accumulating water, the plumber showed up right away and took care of the problem. I would hightrecmen this place."
