"Alfred at check in was extremely helpful and was able to check us in early. Alice was very pleasant at checkout and reached out after we left. The housekeeper found a blanket we left behind and they immediately contacted us. Fortunately for us we were still in the area and we retrieved item. The property is a very short 5 minute walk to the beach. Amazing views of the waves crashing on shore as Hurricane Polo was churning down south. Will visit again in the future!"

"The hotel was beautiful and the location was fantastic. However, half the building is under construction and it begins at 7 AM on weekdays (equipment and supplies will start to be delivered earlier then that as well). we wanted the ocean view so we were at the front of the building so it was constantly loud. Of the 4 nights we stayed, 3 nights had weddings on the roof that went till 10, but that didn't stop the wedding party from continuing. If you're looking for something more relaxing this probably isn't the place but if you want to be right on the water and walkable to everything in La Jolla this is perfect!"

"The front desk staff was very accommodating from check in to storing my bags. They are quite militant and strict about checking out right on time. The food servers use the same stairway as the guests so be sure to peak around the corners for plates of appetizers or entrees coming up the stairs. The location was perfect for the event that I was attending as well as the proximity to the beach, park, shops and restaurants."
