"I was disappointed with my stay. There was ongoing construction near my room, but I was never informed about it before booking or at check-in. The construction created noise early in the morning and there was a strong paint and dust smell throughout the area.
My daughter has severe allergies, so the dust and odor were especially concerning. In addition, the room did not appear to be properly cleaned, as there was old food left in a drawer that caused an unpleasant smell.
Had I known about the construction and its impact, I would have chosen a different hotel. I believe guests should be informed of major construction projects before booking so they can make an informed decision."
