"I contacted the hotel to tell them it was a special occasion.I was interested in checking in early for a handicapped traveler who was having a birthday. They made no effort to help me get an early check in, even though I could see the maid's cart in front of the room two hours earlier. Also, when you're spending almost $600 for a room, it seems very late to check in at four p m."

"What a lovely resort hotel right on the beach in La Jolla. The pool was great for swimming! The restaurant food was delicious, the free coffee was convenient, and overall it was a fantastic vacation spot. We had a 2 bed standard room, which came with a small kitchen and large pull out couch."
