"The hotel was within walking distance of the famous and popular Prospect Street. The location is excellent, and the room on the top floor has a nice view. Very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was ok, not my favorite, but there are many choices in downtown with a La Jolla vibe. They offered beach umbrellas and chairs upon request for use at the beach. The staff was very friendly and professional. Although the hotel does not have its parking, parking is available across the street for $25, which is complimentary for hotel guests. We only stayed one night and I recommend it. "

"Well run hotel with excellent restaurants. Parking is convenient. Lots of extra fees is a negative, like $172 for my dog, $55 self parking and $60 resort fee (not part of basic amenities?). With so little competition nearby why not charge straight up?"

"Excellent view of the ocean and balcony! The food at Sea & Sky is excellent too! The bed was like a cloud of comfort. The view, the food, the bed were all superb! There was only one elevator and the AC didnt work. But who needs AC when you have the ocean air. Loved the room and the property. There is something special about this property/hoel. "
