I had everything I needed in a very nice, well kept setting. You need to bring your own coffee but you a have a coffee maker. The setting is very nice with a water stream in the backyard. My room looked at the water stream which was very nice. Communication was great. The price is reasonable and I felt it was a good quality/price report. Would stay here again!

The room was clean, the staff was great the property was beautiful with a lot of nature. Very close to downtown La Fortuna with lot of activities and a free rope swinging river El Salto. Close to many restaurants, grocery stores, fruit markets and a short drive to hot springs and a volcano. My favorite part was the river in the backyard where I swim and relax.Big yard space where my toddler run around, explore nature, took a walk on the trail and play on swings plus the balls in the yard. I would definitely stay here again.

The entire property is so beautiful! There is a beautiful river you can swim in and a lovely trail. The rooms were very clean and the entire place is just so tranquil. We will definitely return one day.

Very quiet little cabin, near all the activities and a few steps from the trails to the river. Being off season some of the amenities were out of service but we enjoyed the gardens and trails and the covered areas during the rain.

This was a quick in and out for us, just stayed so we would have time in La Fortuna and at Arenal. The home was minimal but just what we needed. The grounds were actually quite lovely, would have explored more if we had stayed longer. Check in and out was easy.

The place was very cute, great location (right near La Fortuna and off the jungle/river). Beautiful place, we stayed for a week. The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Silvia. We had a delay to flight, getting rental car, and then checking in (we did not arrive until midnight), yet Silvia stayed up and allowed us to check in late. There was an issue with the water not running and she was friendly and communicative throughout, they got the issue resolved very quickly and she provided drinking water to us. Only complaints are that the shower was cold the first two days and the shower glass was not long enough, so water spilled on the floor and we had to keep towels there. Additionally we wished that there was some sort of dresser to store our clothes. The hot tub also wasn’t working. The back yard area has hammocks to read in and out front by the pool has sitting hammocks which were great. There is also a common area with pool tables, hammocks, grills, basketball, and more. Overall we loved our stay

Hidden Gem

Amazing property and the breakfast is superb. The cabanas were private and a bit away from the main areas but it was good. The cabanas a basic but good.

Excellent for a family stay

One of the best places we have stayed in Costa Rica. Large open apaces for the children to run around in, a beautiful river to dip in, a pristine football pitch and very comfortable family rooms with a ery well-appointed kitchen! Credit also to Elias for great communication and a warm welcome. 👍😉

This place is truly a hidden gem. The property has so much to do and is so beautiful. We spent an afternoon in the river being the property. It was so fun. Also Elias was very responsive to any questions or requests.

Our room overlooked the river. We had fireflys at night, chamelions in the day and real peace and quiet. There is everythng you could need pools fed by the river, trails through the grounds, kitchens barbeques all in good condition. Easy to get to on a good road and close enough to town.

Host was a family and very friendly and helpful. Property was beautiful. We did have a leak during rain but host was quick to respond and bring towels. We also had a dog barking during the night from next door property but host offered to contact neighbors. Would stay here again. Very neat and unique property.

Loved this place, the property is beautiful with lots of trees and the river right behind it that my kids wnjoyed exploring. Felt very inmersed in the Costa rican nature and the place itself had verything we needed and accomodted all of us bif family. Loved the clean white cotton bed sheets and soft mattresses. We cooked several meals there and reated very well. The personnel was excellent and helpful. Had our clothes washed in 2 hours right on time for our trip.Th

Our room was nice and clean and we had a beautiful view out of our bedroom window and off of our balcony. There was a river that runs right behind the rooms, it was great listening to that a night. It was great sitting out on our balcony, the balcony is compact though. The little kitchen was nice and suited our needs just fine. Unfortunately the pool was not working while we were there, but it was to cool and it was raining the whole time so we wouldn't have used it anyway.

Good, but with a few changes, could be great

Good: the property is beautiful! The river sounds are soothing. The buildings are nicely designed and well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful. It seems like it would be a lovely place to hold an event. Challenges: no hot water to the kitchen sink made us concerned for clean dishes. The wiring connections on the point of service heater on the shower head were a little alarming. Screens for the windows, a screen door for the back door would allow for enegy savings, when it is cool enough, while keeping the bugs and bats out. Also recommend keeping loft windows closed for that same reason. (The back porch bat were fun to watch outside but no one wants them in their room.) Doors need a bit Pland off the bottom to keep from scraping on the floors.

Wonderful location, not too far from downtown La Fortuna (about 10 min) but it’s far enough from the noise and traffic. Our family stayed for 3 nights and felt completely safe. But what makes this place a gem is the wonderful staff (Silvia, Nicole, and Ana). They made us felt welcome and treated like family. It’s a place I would definitely stay again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend!
