Relaxing place

Very far from center Kiev , it’s relaxing place & to reach center you need privet car or pay expensive taxi or ride bus witch is late & not all time specially night

A Quaint & Quiet Hotel Out of the Way

My experience was mixed. It wasn`t a bad hotel. My experience was the hotel staff tried to accommodate me as best as they could! The main obstacle is that very few spoke English, or understood it well enough to have a conversation. The hotel manager moved me to the second floor because my A/C was not working on the First Floor & there was no mini-bar. Once I was moved-in to the second floor, this room was MUCH more comfortable, and came equipped with a mini-bar. The hotel only had about 39 rooms. But, my room was very quiet, with no interruptions by other guests. The breakfast was promptly served & the food was delicious & served hot. It filled me up & the waitress was always very courteous! The Really negative thing is that Senator`s Park Hotel is VERY FAR from the City Center & Independence Square. One Way taxi fares into town will run you 250 to 300 UAH! If the hotel were in the center of town, I would of given it a higher rating. But, I would say for the most part, my experience was a positive one!

Veldig bra. Kunn positive ting å si. Hotelet var kjempe fint, personalet var hyggelige selv om engelsken var ikke det beste på en del. God romservice, som blei ryddet og stelt uansett når vi gikk ut. eneste minuset var vel at det lå litt ut fra kiev, men det kan ikke senatros noe for. KJEMPE FORNØYD.

Very modern, clean and comfortable hotel

The question is simple: for the kind of facilities this hotel has, you must pay over $200 dollars per night in Kiev. Kiev is full of ugly extremely old hotels/buildings that are terrible and expensive. The Senator's has effectively a 4 or even 5 hotel infrastructure, quiet, clean, free wi-fi internet at the Cafeteria (like all Renaissance's, for example), flat screen TV in the room and huge beds with spotless rooms. Now: it is FAR away from Kiev and it may cost you around 300 H to reach the hotel and maybe 200 to go to the city. Now: if you translate this in dollars, it is not more expensive than the cab that takes from the airport to Istanbul. Therefore, if you are in a business trip and you have one or two meetings and then you want to come back to your hotel to rest, eat and surf the internet a little while, this is your spot. However, if you are looking to be in the middle of the action (ergo you want to do some tourism in Kiev), be aware of the distance (maybe 20 minutes to the city) and this is not your place. I cannot emphasize how modern and good is this place compare with some of the scary and "soviet style" hotels and apartments I have seen: sincerely, if these guys would have a shuttle service to the airport and to the city, probably this hotel would be booked for the rest of the year...
