Problems with checking in, nobody answered the buzzer. We were at the hotel 2 am but check in was 24/7. Gladly we got a nice local to call the hotel for us and got in. Staff was nice but spoke very limited English. Kiev is a big city and the hostel is quite far from sightsees and city center. Hotel was average compared to the price. Walls are quite thin and hot water runs off fast. Also cold air blow through the windows. Also a small details to update would be a trash bin in the room which we didn't have

The hostel is really nice, and has a very friendly staff. But it took us over 3 hours to find the hostel. The address wasn't precise and, it is just the name of the mainstreet near by, and it doesn't even have a house number on it. The registered phone number isn't working either.
