Cozy, affordable hotel at a great location

Cozy, moderate hotel at a great location in Podil. Easy walk to Poshtova Square, the Dnipro river, St. Andrews’s Descent, and the funicular which takes you to St. Michael’s and St. Sophia’s. Serghei, the front desk manager, was helpful, attentive, and gave us great dinner recommendations.

The staff was extremely nice, helpful and welcoming! However, the general condition of the hotel wasn’t the best. There were renovation works at the reception, thus lots of noise. And I was not informed of those works beforehand. Hotel is nice but requires a bit of renovation as it seems a bit outdated. But the willingness of the staff to help was making up for almost everything.

Beliggenhed er fin, det bookede værelse var ulækkert og med meget gammelt og slidt inventar de 2 ovenlysvinduer der var begroet af skimmelsvamp, billederne fra hjemmesiden har intet med det værelse vi blev anvist at gøre. Vi klagede og blev anvist et ok og nyrenoveret værelse mod extra betaling, dette blev dog ikke opkrævet ved afrejse. Der var ikke rengøring hver dag, og toiletpapir måtte vi gentagne gange rykke for.

I thought the picture was from my room, but I found out my room was smaller and had an angled ceiling on one side. The staff was great from checking in to checking out and spoke good english.

部屋がアップグレードされており快適に過ごせました。朝食のオムレツはとても美味しかったです。11/11に朝食を食べていた時に、ROSHENというチェコレートのお店を店員さんに聞いたところ、快く丁寧に教えて頂き、また一緒に同じポーズで写真まで撮らせて頂き、楽しい思い出になりました。また泊まりたいホテルです。

too noisy with no service

Stayed in this hotel already 2 times, as after the first time i decided to give it another try. But there will be no third try. In general the hotel is fine for the price you pay: very good breakfast, convenient location and ok bed & internet. BUT the service is close to non-existent. I arrived in the middle of the night both times. The first time i arrived i was provided no information about anything (wifi, breakfast etc). The second time i stayed i requested the room with the windows not towards the street (as otherwise it is not possible to sleep) and my booking was subject to availability of this room, but instead i was provided the one towards the street and no explanation.To make the long story short if you decide to stay there please request the quite room

Enjoyed my stay at this superb find!

The hotel was very good. The price to quality ratio stood out, and the hotel is situated in an area that locals seemed to value as the best one in the entire capital city. A metro connection is just few meters away, and lively streets have good traffic of pedestrians. The staff was extremely kind and professional; anything I asked, I got. The breakfast in the hotel was edging on fine dining-experience, and it took close to an hour to enjoy it in full. That is fine, but on some mornings I enjoyed breakfast from restaurants which are good and close by. Will probably stay here again, if ever back in Kiev!

Fantastisk service! Fick hjälp med allt, de gick tom med oss till ställe så vi skulle hitta. Skulle lätt kunna komma tillbaka till detta hotell. Grymt WIFI och AC. Lite hål i fåtölj och soffa men inget som vi brydde oss om. Även ett väldigt bra läge!

Basic but friendly

Quite dated and in room facilities are non existent. Would be nice to have tea/coffee making facilities and additional bathroom complimeraries such as shower gel and moisturiser. Located centrally,ideal for sights and museums. Staff are friendly and work hard to keep you happy
