This is a good hotel for families visiting or solo travelling. All the amenities are close by and they have pub food in the hotel. The breakfast has good selection of foods.

Fantastic for ctoss country skiing. Traclks start straiaght from the doorstep and are very welll maintained. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. Pitty the restaurant wasn't open in rhe evening. I wasn't keen on O'lery's. Had fish and chips there first evening. They were lukewarm and literally just fish and chips - no peas. Ended up having a good breakfast and then buying sallads from the local supermarkert (about 20 min walk away) or the little shop in the hotel. There was a microwave in the corridor so that was another option. It was just a 10 minute bus ride from airport to hotel.

Warm hospitality, good comfort

I have seen a couple of hotels in the area, and I can tell the comfort level of this hotel was good. The rooms in the main building are not the most modern, but I really liked the comfort level. The room was warm enough, we liked the bedsheet and the pillow. It felt fresh and new. We had a good sleep. The only downside that there was no fridge in the room. The lady at the reception was super nice. We departed early and got breakfast package, which I appreciated a lot. The content was really good. Thanks for the hospitality.

Holiday club does NOT listen to feedback

Was not possible to get in contact with the hotel, by mail or phone. Holiday club has a new phone system that will charge you extra! Should be a service they would give customers, and NOT charge extra for. They also keep you on waiting for a very long time, and you will be charged the whole time. Did try to call reception while I was right at the reception desk just to check. There was available staff at the reception but I got stuck in waiting line at the phone, and the phone did not ring at the reception desk, at the phone voice message itbsaid that I was in line waiting for an available staff member. A stupid trick by Holiday Club to make more money. Something has gone wrong in this big company. The staff at Holiday Club Kuusamo is very friendly and very helpful. No doubt. It's the management and all the bosses in the Holiday club system that is bad, not the staff at the hotel. There was also signs inside the spa that said the water temperatur was lower to save energy! Stupid way to save energy!!! You NEED to keep a nice and comfortable temperatur in the pools, jacuzzi and steam room to have happy guests that can enjoy your facilities in comfort. Have given feedback many times that Holiday Club Kuusamo could save energy by lowering the temperatur at the steam room, it has been to hot for all the years that we have been to Tropiki Kuusamo. To hot to be able to stay inside the steam room to get core temperatur in the body, It's just burning. Lower the temp please

Das Zimmer war sichtlich in die Jahre gekommen. Das wäre an sich nicht schlimm, aber an der Dusche hat die Tür gefehlt, man sah, dass sie früher mal da war und man hat sie einfach nicht ersetzt. Dementsprechend war Hochwasser im Bad. Auch mehrere Griffe waren abgebrochen und der Mülleimer defekt. Viele Kleinigkeiten, die in Summe aber unangenehm waren.

Das Zimmer war ungefähr 40 Jahre alt und man kommt mit einer Lochkarte ins Zimmer. Der Spa Bereich umfasst sage und schreibe 1 Sauna (1 mal für Männer, 1 mal für Frauen). Das Schwimmbad lohnt sich leider nicht. Das Restaurant bzw. die Sportbar „O‘learis‘ war sehr schön eingerichtet und das Essen war lecker. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung…

Todella tilava huone. Parisänky valitettavasti kaksi sänkyä yhdessä ei edes yhteistä petauspatjaa. Aamiainen hyvä ja runsas, varsinkin kotimaiset marjat todella kiva lisä. Kylpylä ei nykyään yhtä trooppinen, poreallas +31 astetta, mutta monipuolinen ja kaikki viihtyivät. Alue kaunista. Ruoka iltaisin ravintolassa oli hyvää. Palvelu kaikkialla ystävällistä.

Huone oli erittäin tilava. Kahden koiran kanssa majoittuessa, on erinomaista, että uloskäynti on lähellä eikä tarvitse aina respan kautta kulkea. Ainoa kehitystoive olisi uloskäynnin edessä olevan metalliristikon joko peittäminen matolla tai vaihtaminen tiheämpään ristikkoon. Nykyinen on koirien tassuille suorastaan vaarallinen koska tassu voi solahtaa ristikosta läpi.

Korjausta tarvittaisiin

Hotelli on hieman kulahtanut ja korjauksen tarpeessa. Aamupalalla kävellessäni käytävällä oli sanko, johon katosta vuotava vesi oli ohjattu. Huoneessa myös WC:n hana sylki vedet päälle kun joku oli ruuvannut hanan päästä kärjen mukaansa.

Kylpylä ei ole kovin ihmeellinen, kuljetukset sekä mäkeen että kentälle harvassa. Viimeinen bussi kuljetus mäkeen, ennen kolmen tunnin taukoa, lähti juuri hetkeä ennen hotellin uloskirjautumisaikaa. Myös kenttä kuljetukset tulee varata ennakkoon. Tämä on mielestäni selkeä puute. Itse hotellihuone oli siisti ja mukava, kuitenkin yli hinnoiteltu palvelutarjontaan nähden

Superior hotellihuoneessa muuten kaikki kunnossa, mutta jäimme kaipaamaan minibaaria. Huoneesta löytyi myös vedenkeitin mutta esimerkiksi teetä tai kaakaota ei ole saatavilla kuten monessa muussa hotellissa. Hotellin lähettyvillä oleva rantasauna oli myös auki vain ke & su, joten viikonloppureissulla se jäi kokematta.
