Road in was atrocious. Needs upgrading and maintenance. Property is pretty and pleasant . Staff are nice, food is quite good .
All good and as expected. Last bit of road to resort could do with a little tlc as our 2 wheel saloon bottomed.
Staff helpful and knowledgeable about local links. Whiffs of marijuana didn't bother me - but might some people.
Generally a nice experience.
The staff was very friendly, the breakfast was terrible. The food offered on the menue not available. No juice, no jam, no butter....
And the worst, absolutely no internet. But the people did their best and i will book there again.
We enjoyed our one night stay. The room was in good condition overall by African standards. The hotel is in a fantastic location on the lake from front. To get there you go down a rough half I’m track but a taxi can just make it. From the hotel, it is a short 3 minute walk through the bush to the village which has a selection of shops and a bar. The hotel had limited choice of food after the Easter weekend but the fish we had was pleasant. The bar and restaurant closed at 7pm as we were the only guests. The hotel has seen better days but still in reasonable condition. No wi-fi. Overall we were satisfied and enjoyed our stay. Afterwards We found a local taxi driver to take us to Ejisu and on to Komase in a very ramshackle taxi, that’s Africa.
abgelegen an einem See, keine Badewasserqualität; Gäste von außen auf Hotelgelände; Hotel heruntergekommen, Zimmer sehr muffig, Badezimmer alt und schäbig; Service mäßig; Essen möglich, aber spartanisch; Frühstück ultra spartanisch;
reine Übernachtungsherberge, dafür der Preis zu hoch.
The road to get back to the hotel is crazy bumpy with potholes everywhere. When we arrived, there was a huge brick parking lot that was empty...we appeared to be the only guests. The room was supposed to be 2 queen beds (that what we had booked online, but they said they don't have that, they only have king beds. There was a dead lizard in our bathroom with live and dead all around it. The room appeared to not have been cleaned well. There was a top sheet on the bed, but no other sheets, just a comforter. Wifi isn't available, and the tv carries 3 channels...1 in spanish, 1 muslim channel...and 1 british news channel. Also, on expedia, I had booked it for $63 US but when I got the email confirmation, they said it would be $73 US? Not sure why a discrepancy with that.

Sympathisches, preswertes Hotel am See
Recht gutes Hotel in sehr schöner Umgebung, hat schon bessere Tage gesehen, aber immer noch gut für einen kurzen Aufenthalt. Geräumige Zimmer, sauber, ordentliches Restaurant, freundliches Personal. Zufahrtssträsschen in schlechtem Zustand, selbst für ghanaische Verhältnisse.
