Friendly welcoming and perfect resort for families and couples. The all inclusive option is a great. Rooms are well kept and good size with beautiful views. Options of both over water and beach villas - over water pool villa was the better option. Cannot fault it and would definitely recommend.

It was an amazing stay at Raaya. Staff were super friendly and caring. Thank you Shashika and Mithun for your kind support. We sincerely appreciate your hospitality. My husband and I absolutely enjoyed our stay at Raaya! The free transfers as well was a great perk. We were greeted at the airport in Male and were taken to where we were supposed to go for the seaplane transfer. The resort itself was gorgeous, everything about it was incredible, staff was super nice and helpful. We had Saif as our guide throughout our stay and he was great.

The property is relatively new, so no visible defects or signs of wear. Most of the employees are friendly and serviceminded. What I experienced as less positive: - employees who are functional friendly and not warm friendly. I expected more warm friendliness in a 5* resort. There were also employees who didn't even greet you when you encounter them, which I found quit rude, especially because it wasn't busy. - Also did I get the wrong information about a bathtub in the villa, when I called reservations before I made the booking. I only find out when we arrived at the villa. - Most of the restaurant employees were nice and friendly, but seem to have insufficient experience in how to serve on high standard, eg don't reach over the plate or guest while taking away used dishes and glasses, try to avoid touching guests near the table you're cleaning, clean the floor directly after something is spilled on it because some guests walk barefoot.

The island is lovely great staff, it has a good selection of food and drinks. It is let down but the arrivals/departures. They do not tell you your flight times until the day of and we ended up waiting in the airport for 3 hours on arrival and a further 5 hours on departure. On arrival they do offer a lounge but on departure nothing is offered and you can't even check your bags as it's soo early so it's a long wait in a very loud airport.

Truly an unforgettable experience from start to finish arriving in paradise via seaplane! The island, room and food were wonderful. Our trip was made extra special by all the amazing staff, the most attentive and personalised experience I’ve ever received and it wouldn’t have been the same without them. Lots of activities and areas to relax, we enjoyed snorkelling, a sunset cruise and our massage the most. We will be back!!

Our stay was so memorable because of the wonderful resort amenities and top service by their amazing staff! Achala, our ever reliable and attentive personal concierge, arranged our itineraries; he coordinated dinners (my wife's birthday dinner was a 5-course meal with singing staff), excursions, gym and spa schedules, a surprise room decoration (by Jahid), and he also left my wife a handmade card! We're there only 4 days but Achala, the gym coach, spa ladies and Mary at Raaya Life are like long friends already. We'll surely come back. 😊

The staff were the best we have ever encountered. So genuinely interested in your every need, very happy not stressed or bothered no matter what we needed just so happy to help. Lovely vibe, beautful high quality hotel. Could do with more bikes as not enough to go around and it was so fun cycling around the island. Amazing inclusive package, top masseuses my daughters had the best massages. Great cocktails lovely villas. Good value for money.
