"The three bedroom apartment was spacious, well furnished, with great views and had so much potential. Unfortunately, the furnishing was a bit gross. On checking in we also found dirty socks, used toothbrushes and half finished milk teas around the place. There were also cockroaches roaming the living room mattress, and we found stains on all the couches, the towels and the bed sheets. "Amethyst is my all-time favorite hostel. It was my first time hostel hoping, and I wasn't sure if I would make friends. Enter Saiful. He invited me to dinner where I got to know other travelers, who I ended up spending the rest of my time in KL with, visiting everything from the Batu Caves to the Putrajaya Pink Mosque.
