This was an amazing property. Five star quality in every sense of the word Varana is a new resort that is oriented towards wellness Olympic size swimming pool Excellent spa services Classes and excellent food fresh squeeze juices and an amazing staff

Luxury stay in Krabi, great amenities and couldn’t rate the staff enough. Very pleased with this designer hotel. All facilities top quality and a true sense of 5 star throughout. The best hotel we have ever stayed in.

Fantastic hotel and staff! Staff were so welcoming and friendly. Situated across from a very quiet beach but there is also a beach club if you want a bit more lively. All in all a great hotel and location.

In short - you can get the same experience in your nearest vacation town at any generic hotel chain. There are some major issues with this new hotel that must be addressed. 1. When we arrived at the hotel, no one was waiting at the entrance, leaving us wondering where is the Lobby? Where should we leave the suitcases ? How do we check in? 2. After going up the staircase while leaving out luggage alone we found the reception with what seems to be two very young teenagers behind the desk 3. No “welcome”, “how was your trip here?” , “how are you?” . The conversation literally started with - “Hello, please give me your passport and credit card”. They were not rude, they were just children that don’t have clue on hospitality. 4. After signing some papers we got a cheap paper that was clearly cut by a 4-years-old “complimentary 1 hour at their thermal something” , didn’t really listened as it was scotching hot in the lobby with standing cheap fans. 5. We waited another 10 minutes for someone to pick us up to the room, when we got there the key was not working - apparently they wrote different room numbers on the inside and outside of the key holders 6. Finally got into the room - air conditioning was off and there was zero oxygen in the room. 7. As for the quality -the hotel is new, however the use if cheap materials is noticeable and a lot of things already starting to fall apart such as bathroom tiles,bad smells,mold, pool chairs etc. 8. I have 18 points but no space left

The hotel property was so nice and clean. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was outstanding, the pool bar was nice and had great food! The only thing I would suggest is to get a lift up to the breakfast area as the only way up is stairs. People who are handicap/bad knees have to go up stairs. Also, it would be nice if more shopping is around the area on the beach. Not much shops around. Other than that, great place to stay, we loved it!!!

Everything about staying at Varana was amazing! The staff was so great, the property was so beautiful and well kept and I truly appreciate their commitment to sustainability. We will be back! Highly recommend!!!!

Onsen experience was incredible, highly recommend morning hike that they have as a fitness activity it’s 3.7 km trek to the mountain so worth it and exceeded my expectation as I though it will be a brisk walk! Enjoyed HIIT class as well! Gym has very good space and equipment.

Amazing Honeymoon stay!
This hotel is amazing! We stayed here for 4 nights as part of our honeymoon trip. Everything is so clean, every member of staff is extremely friendly and it’s also a brand new resort with excellent attention to detail. We had breakfast at the hotel and it was delicious, there is an excellent range of food for everything. We booked a day trip to hong islands through the hotel which again was organised perfectly and really good value for money. Would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone. I’m sad we didn’t book to stay here for longer!

Sehr schönes Hotel mit einem super Beach Club am Strand. Viele Aktivitäten werden angeboten. Das Personal ist total freundlich und hilfsbereit, leider sind die englischen Kenntnisse sehr schlecht, was zu vielen Missverständnissen führt.

Overall, it is a very good facility. The staff are very friendly and very helpful. The rooms are cleaned every day. The breakfast is very positive. The bread is home-baked in their own bakery and is very delicious. At the same time, the choice of food is very varied. We felt very comfortable and would come back again.

De loin le meilleur hôtel que nous ayons fait en Thaïlande. Même si il n’est pas encore totalement terminé nous n’osons pas imaginer comment cela sera quand il le sera. Superbe chambre, salle de sport, spa incroyable, piscines exceptionnelles, dont une olympique. Nous avons adoré merci milles fois.

Cet hôtel est neuf. Il est ouvert depuis 5 mois. Les chambres sont très moderne et bien décorées. Nous avions une chambre au troisième étage avec une vue mer magnifique. Le spa est superbe. Le petit déjeuner était excellent. Les produits proposés sont excellent et il y a une bonne variété. Nous avons tellement aimé cet hôtel que nous avons pris une nuit supplémentaire. Il y a également une piscine olympique très bien conçue, pour faire des longueurs, c'est parfait. Si vous recherchez de la qualité et la propreté, vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés. Nous faisons la thailande depuis 20 ans, cet hôtel est vivement recommandé. Il fait partie des très bonnes surprise dans nos voyages.Nous avons également fait du sport dans la salle de gym avec des équipements complets en fitness et en poids. Tous les appareils étaient neufs. Enfin, mention spéciale pour les filles de l'accueil et le manager. Ils étaient souriants, professionnels et attentifs à nos demandes.
