Peaceful quiet town, same goes for the resort. Really liked it to end the trip. Very clean and a free breakfast that we enjoyed. Staff were very friendly.

The chalet was very clean and has everything you need, steamer, hairdryer, kettle fridge ,microwave, and toaster. Minor thing ...bathroom could do with a hook on the door or wall and the fly screen in the shower needs a clean. All the staff were very nice and helpful. Food was good with good size portions. Pool is of good size but surrounding deck small so not enough sun loungers. Beach is about 15 min walk with plenty of places to eat. Highly recommend loy chalets

This is a beautiful resort to stay in. The accommodation is modern, clean and quiet. We absolutely loved our stay here and were sorry to leave. The staff were friendly and helpful - a big shout out to the two guys on reception, they were especially enthusiastic and happy to assist with all our questions. The resort is far enough away from the main road so you don't hear any noise but in walking distance of everything. Would stay here again without a doubt. Great choices for breakfast and the pool was lovely.

A beautiful location very close to the beach. The room was perfect and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast and the cappuccino were delicious. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. You can rent a scooter to explore the area. We would return again if we visited the area again.

Loy chalet is excellent. While the resort itself is great the area surrounding especially Klong muang beach is absolutely stunning and not over crowded like Ao Nang. You can catch long tail boats straight from the locals off the beach nearby and the resturaunts on and on the way to the beach from here are amazing. A great place to stay if you don’t need to be in the middle of it all all the time. I recommend a motorbike rental as the beach is about a 7-10 minute walk and ao Nang is about 15 minutes by bike. Breakfast was amazing here and the staff was very friendly.

most beautiful place I’ve stayed for such low cost

This is an absolute find! What a stunning place, we felt like we struck paradise here. The resort is small but so beautifully done. You can rent scooters and go on day trips arranged by the hotel. The service was amazing. Free breakfast. Beautiful rooms and gorgeous outside jungle baths. The pool was perfect. So in love with it

Everything was perfect about this hotel, food, location, the rooms… however the part I want to highlight the most is the service. The gentlemen behind the desk is a credit to his role, not only did he help us out with everything we needed. He also helped us retrieve our missing passports and without his help we would have been in a really difficult situation. Thank you again, Edward and Robyn.

Lovely accommodation in lush green surroundings away from the main road so very quiet for this area. Nice friendly staff and good breakfast included. However, this place is let down by the room cleaning standards which were inadequate. We stayed for 15 nights and the housekeeping staff were available every day but only emptied the bins, replenished the towels and bottled water and swept the floors. The bathroom wasn’t cleaned during our stay and although the floors were swept, they weren’t mopped at all. The bedding was tired and yellowing and two of the four pillows in our room were dirty and smelt cheesy so we didn’t use them. It’s a shame as aside from this it was a lovely place to stay.

Good home base for exploring, not near the beach

The property is beautiful and the rooms are new, spacious and well maintained. Loy Chalet had the most comfortable beds of our entire trip. Large pool, delicious smoothies, and good breakfast options. It is important to know that for lunch and dinner, the hotel does not have a kitchen on site (despite the website noting fine dining) and anything ordered is delivered from a nearby restaurant. We waited for a fairly long time for our lunch to arrive on the first day. When I asked about walking to Klong Muang Beach (the closest to the property) the desk attendant told me it was a local beach used mainly for fishing, and that we should take a taxi to Ao Nang, about 20 minutes away. We were able to book a private boat excursion that was the highlight of our trip. Contact Krabi Medsine Travel & Tour at 083-6382541 (telephone or WhatsApp) and speak with Sine. We also used her for our transportation back to the airport as it was cheaper that the shuttle offered by Loy.

Staff was fantastic! The restroom was however rusty at some parts and had mosquito webs on the ceiling in several spots. The villas were cute and the pool was nice. Breakfast was mid. Not much around the property and grab drivers will most likely not take your ride from there. Walk to the beach was good. There’s mosques near by that play prayers loudly on speaker phone twice a day that you can hear very clearly despite the distance.

The property was excellent a relaxed atmosphere fir couple and families, breakfast included with a good selection of fruit yogurt and cooked breakfast the French toast was amazing The pool was great with shade and sunny sun beds All staff were super friendly and helpful and we booked our trips via the reception Plenty of convenience stores nearby The beach is about a 10/15 minute walk but you coukd get a taxi down ( the hotel does state beach front but that is incorrect) a good base to explore from I would definitely stay again

Actually, I hadn’t planned to write a review because I thought the issues could be resolved in a different way. Unfortunately, the hotel was not willing to address our concerns.We booked the hotel through Expedia, where it clearly states that the beach is only a one-minute walk away. Unfortunately, this is not true — it takes about 15 minutes on foot in direct sun.In the room, there were no small towels provided, and we found termite droppings on the bed. The air conditioning was extremely strong, making it uncomfortable to sleep with it on, but without it, the room would heat up again within about 15 minutes. Although there was a small kitchen, no sponge was provided for washing dishes. It’s the small details that make a difference. Overall, the staff (Most of them) was friendly. However, their English skills were sometimes quite limited. On our last day, someone at reception told me that you might be able to reach the beach in one minute “if you hurry,” laughed, and said it was not their problem if the information on Expedia was incorrect. However, since Expedia is the platform used to book the hotel, this response felt inappropriate. Breakfast was average at best. There were six options to choose from, plus a small buffet with cereal, toast, and fruit. If you arrived later — even still within breakfast hours — items were not refilled. The juice and most drinks were extremely sweet, almost like pure syrup. Coffee costs extra if you want anything other than instant coffee.

Muy decepcionante para un hotel que se anuncia como 4 estrellas El lugar estaba sucio y la limpieza diaria fue muy deficiente. Las toallas de playa tenían mal olor, los cócteles eran horribles y el desayuno bastante austero. Lo más grave es que no hay un manager o encargado disponible para atender reclamos; el personal simplemente dice que no puede hacer nada. No corresponde en absoluto al nivel de un hotel de 4 estrellas. No volvería ni lo recomendaría.

Tolle Unterkunft, für alle super, die es etwas ruhiger möchten. Einen Roller kann man direkt problemlos im Hotel mieten und die Umgebung erkunden. Neben dem Hotel sind zwei hervorragende Restaurants. Der Pool ist sauber und groß. Leider ist die Küche nur über eine Treppe außen erreichbar und es gibt unten keine Klimaanlage. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Lugn och skön vistelse

Väldigt mysigt, lite mindre hotell ca 5 minuters promenad från Khlong Muang-stranden. Stranden är lite halvtråkig (inte så fin sand/vatten) men solen går ner vid stranden vilket är väldigt mysigt! Vi bodde i ett stort, rymligt och fräscht rum med ett badkar på altanen framför rummet. Rummet hade även både kyl och frys samt ett litet pentry, så skulle nog mer kalla det en mindre lägenhet faktiskt. Poolen (med saltvatten i) var fin och vi var nästan alltid i princip helt själva vid den. På andra sidan gatan ligger ett jättemysigt litet kaffe/te/smoothie ställe - tips! Det finns också flertalet restauranger och massageställen längs samma väg. Killarna i receptionen var supertrevliga och otroligt hjälpsamma! Det enda negativa med vistelsen var att det inte erbjöds någon frukostbuffé. Man får välja frukost (som i för sig var väldigt god) från en meny, en rätt/person samt gratis vatten/juice, pulverkaffe och ananas/vattenmelon, allt annat (tex kaffe från kaffemaskin eller en extra rätt) fick man betala för. Det städades inte på rummen varje dag om man inte bad om det, men om man bad om det blev det bra gjort. Lite svårt att få till temperaturen på vattnet i duschen och vattnet rann väldigt, väldigt sakta ner i avloppet, men det problemet finns väl ungefär överallt i Thailand. Överlag väldigt nöjda!!

Sehr nette Anlage mit wunderbar angelegten Garten und Pool. (bis 22 Uhr geöffnet) Sehr nettes Personal besonders möchte ich dabei CIO hervorheben, die sehr umsichtig alles zur zu Friedenheit der Gäste macht. Auch die Chalets sind sehr geräumig und gepflegt. Viele Restaurants in unmittelbarer Nähe. Ales in Allem ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt
