"This private room in the Lodge building was like a college dorm with communal facilities. The bathrooms were group sinks, toilets, showers and the kitchen had multiple stoves, sinks and tables. All clean & neat, but not much privacy, if that matters to you."

"Airport shuttle would have been useful"

"I stay here twice a year. I think it’s starting to get a bit expensive for the quality of the room. Car parking can be a challenge. Don’t ever expect to park outside your room. If you manage to, it’s more luck than design. The older rooms can be noisy as people are coming and going depending on flight times. The newer rooms are better but are getting very expensive "

"Great spot to stay on our first night after landing in New Zealand. Reasonable distance from the airport, easy walk to the city centre. The Give concept is carried throughout and is an admirable concept. Highly recommend. "

"Dreadful - oversold our room, left us without a room at the hotel at 1am, with the backup option 15 min shuttle away. Did not let us know ahead of time, instead surprised us upon check in. Stay somewhere else nearby. Disgraceful."
