I made new friends! :) However, the village is somewhat isolated unless you have access to a car. The slow pace may well suit some. Unfortunately, the local railway servicing the smaller villages was abandoned some 15 years ago, in favour of the high-speed intercity railway, which is limited to servicing major towns and cites only. "Was a great hotel! Litochoro is a quaint town and this hotel elevated our trip :) the staff was delightful, and the auro of the hotel was very wholesome. The free breakfast was decent, and the pool and sauna were lovely. "
