Amazing value

A few of the things I liked in the dorm room is each bed has a curtain so you have privacy and the space is really big with lots of storage space right under your bed. The staff were really friendly and helpful and the welcome card is a nice touch too. There’s a nice chill out area with bean bags and the coffee is great too. (Good coffee is a rarity in hostels)

Un désastre

Nous avons restés 3 nuits sur 7 au Skypod. Il a eu une panne d’électricité importante qui a durée au moins trois jours: nous ne savons pas réellement quand l’électricité et revenu, nous sommes partis. Le personnel ne s’en préoccupait pas de tout, personne était capable de nous informés sur la situation. Ils riaient et bavardaient ensemble... De plus, ils laissent entrer des nouveaux clients à 4h le matin qui n’ont aucun respect pour les gens qui dorment... Machine à café brisée et jamais réparée. Déjeuner corrects sans plus. Trop bien côté et trop cher pour un hostel comme ça! Bref, n’y allez pas, il y a moins cher et mieux !

Nice comfortable hostel

Had an enjoyable stay here. This hostel is clean and comfortable. The only down side is it is located 5 mins drive from the city centre.

A little run around adventure

Stay at Skypod was good. The 2nd night we booked a month or so in advance. We showed up to find out the whole hostel was booked up. They relocated us to JIA by Skypod and refunded our night. A small hiccup but they were very accommodating. Only little upset was that they agreed to pay for our airport transfer from the new place but didn't.

I enjoyed my time at the SKypod hostel. The rooms were very clean and well kept. The staff were friendly and were able to help with most things. My only downside was the location. For me it was not central enough to the city. However it was walkable or you can catch and Uber quite cheap.

Very Nice Hostel - Very Friendly and Helpful Staff

My first time staying in a hostel, let alone a "pod" type hostel. I was in a mixed room with about 25 pods. Below each pod was storage room to hold even a suitcase with a provide lock. Free wifi, a very simple breakfast with free coffee all day and night. There were 3 showers(never a problem with water pressure or hot water) that were shared among us plus 2 restrooms. There was also a changing room in both the shower area and in the shared dormitory area. They even have a washing machine that you can use with an area to hang your washed clothes. I was skeptical at first as to how loud it might be considering you are sleeping in an area with possible 25 people right next to you. Amazing as to how quiet it really was. In fact, more quiet that most motels I have stayed in as maybe people were very conscious as to how close in proximity we were to one another. I still would suggest to bring ear plugs or ear buds as you might have someone in the area that is a loud snorer! This place was not in the center of town so it is about 2 km away. I personally walked it a couple times but also used uber and grab which are both readily available. Airport is only about 7 1/2 km away which only took 25 min which was during heavy traffic. The staff were incredible....friendly, very nice and helpful. Thank you Gary and Ray for helping me out.

Perfect hostel

Absolutely flawless this hostel. I don't usually do hostel, but did this before mount KK. Cheap airport pickup, best friendly service and staff, towels, bathroom facilities. Everything was just in order and ready for guests. Shared dorm with seperate and quite private and cousy, clean doublebed 'pods'. We brought own sleeping bag, otherwise they have blanket, I didn't use. Plenty of room for big luggage and you can lock it under bed. Breakfast is perfectly decent and free good coffee. I am lost for words of the benefits, professionalism, comfort and value you get for a very good price

意料之外的超级高性价比，虽然是青旅，但是房间和卫生让人非常满意，公用的浴室和厕所每天都打扫几次，地板上永远是干净清洁，可惜亚庇除了海岛没什么好玩了，不然可以多住两天

L'établissement est tout neuf. Les personnel est des plus serviable et vous donne d'excellents conseils. Si les immeubles environnants ne sont pas derniers cris, c'est un quartier sûr où l'on trouve de bons restaurants locaux donc pas chers, à contrario du front de mer, bière et plats ici sont moitié prix. Une adresse où l'on reviendra avec plaisir. Le wifi n'est pas à la hauteur du reste des services...
