Friendly Hotel near the main railway station

A well-situated hotel near the main railway station, bus station, and the city center. The hotel itself is compact and generally well-kept. It's lovely to still be able to enjoy a bathtub in the bathroom, as these are becoming very rare in hotels these days. The hot water was sometimes a little short, especially after 9:00 a.m., and only lukewarm in the evening. The breakfast spread was okay, and the DIY hot plate for cooking bacon and eggs yourself exactly how you like them was wonderful. The staff were communicative and very friendly. We very much enjoyed the smiles in the morning when entering the breakfast room. There is no 24-hour reception, but the staff can be quickly contacted. On our last day, after checkout, we were able to leave our luggage in the "sister" Focus Hostel just down the road, which was perfect. Kortrijk itself is quite small, but given its location near Lille in France, Ostend with its sandy beaches, and Bruges and Ghent, it is perfect for day trips to many other places.

Klein gezellig hotel vlak aan de rand van de binnenstad. Voormalig rijhuis dat werd omgevormd. Leuke inkleding van alle kamers met elk hun eigen aparte inrichting. Ruime keuze bij ontbijt.

Ottimo per viaggi business.

Bella soluzione per chi non vuole spendere un'esagerazione.. Posto molti tranquillo, il centro si raggiunge in 10 minuti di passeggiata.. A 300 Mt c'è una brasserie dove si mangia divinamente a prezzi abbordabili, brasserie Casino. Il parcheggio è a pagamento a cifre irrisorie... 0,50 cent a notte. Colazione senza infamia e senza gloria offre un pò di tutto, formaggi, salumi, marmellate, pani differenti, frutta, yogourt etc...

Wij vonden het wederom een fijn verblijf in jullie hotel. Het is er zeer rustig en we genieten altijd met volle teugen van het ontbijt. Enkel vonden wij het deze keer niet zo heel proper. Er lag nog veel stof op de vensterbank van de badkamer. Ook lag er nog veel stof onder het bed.

Leuk hotel op rustige locatie

Prettig,kleinschalig en kunstzinnig hotel op wandelafstand van het treinstation en het stadscentrum en in een rustige straat. Vriendelijke host en soepel in aankomst- en vertrektijd indien , zoals nu met corona, mogelijk. Heel de dag lekkere koffie en thee .beschikbaar! Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar!

Fine for an overnight stay!

It’s fine, I thought I’d booked the hotel side though so was a little disappointed to be in a hostel. Especially when on a work trip but it was clean and the staff were very nice.

Geldwolven doen niet weten way gastvrijheid is

Ze weten niet eens hoe ze hospitality schrijven. Op de dag van de checkin krijg je een mail dat je 25€ extra moet betalen als je na 21.00 uur komt (terwijl ze niet eens een receptie hebben en de sleutel gewoon buiten hangen). Schoonmaakster komt om 9.10 gewoon binnen zonder te kloppen. Lijkt dit ook normaal te vinden. Bovendien was er een dubbele reservering gemaakt en hoewel dit vrijwel direct gemeld, werd dit ook zonder enige soepelheid behandeld. Aanvankelijk daar niks van gedacht, maar na verdere indrukken dat dit een stel geldwolven zijn die 0 interesse hebben in hun klanten, sluit het toch wel erg goed aan.

Zeer toegewijde eigenaar die voor een uitstekend en zeer volledig ontbijt had gezorgd. Wij konden parkeren voor de deur en om ons toe te laten een lange stadswandeling te maken stelde hij voor onze parkeerschijf aan te passen. Een minpuntje was te wijten aan een communicatiefoutje.

No air con, no windows to open

A nice place, perfect location, but... no Air con, and no possibility to open windows... not a very good combination. Temp ouside 36 degrees, inside the room close to 40 Celsius.
