Very friendly and helpful staff. The beach, coconut trees and crystal clear waters were spectacular. We loved relaxing by the pools. We had lunch and dinner several times at the resort's restaurant and found the meals very delicious.

Tambua is an amazing Adult Only resort, it is quiet and the grounds and rooms are immaculate. Food is well priced and good quality. The staff are absolutely amazing especially Toui and Jim.

While not a high end property, I would go back. There were issues with the TV and we couldn't adjust the temperature but we loved the small group, family vibe. The food was ok, but good value considering. The staff was great. Loved the location.

This was the perfect place for me to stay as a solo traveller. My beach hut had air conditioning and a very comfortable bed. There was a hammock outside that was my favorite feature. The resort cat was such a lovey ginger boy.

Massively disappointed. We booked & paid for a private plunge pool bure and arrived at the hotel to find we had a been allocated a beach front bure. The hotel did nothing to compensate or reimburse the difference in cost. Look at the bad reviews on most booking platforms, it seems to have happened regularly at Tambua Sands.

the individual units with air conditioning were great and the location is fine if you don't mind being 1-2 hrs from the action. I like it very much but it may not be the best for everyone so do your homework. the restaurant is average and not the type you expect for a resort experience. there are no nearby restaurants so unless you want to taxi $30 away or settle for a burger or mediocre fish dinner there are few alternatives. But to rest in a remote location on a beautiful beach and snorkel a wonderful area this is fine. I suggest shopping for some fine foods to have in your unit for your stay to treat yourself to during your stay.

Was disappointed with the way the manager(Angela) and her assistant treated us and the staff. We were supposed to have breakfast but it was late about half an hour so we went on a tour without breakfast and only reached our destination three hours later to have breakfast.

We very much enjoyed our 5 night stay at Tambua Sands. The grounds and pool are beautiful, and the staff are welcoming and friendly. The bures are spacious and comfortable, and have an authentic Fijian feel. As it is an adult only setting, it is very quiet and relaxing, and you soon slip in to “Fiji time”! We will definitely return to Tambua Sands on our next stop in Fiji. Vinaka!
