The national park is beautiful and peaceful when not surrounded by mobs of tourists. Park gets crowded when tourist buses arrive but once you get out of the mob of people there is breathing room.

"Lovely little family-owned B&B 15 minutes’ drive from entrance 2 to Plivitce lakes national parks. There are restaurants and markets within walking distance but the home-cooked breakfast is worth the 10 euros extra.
