Good stay for staycation

Everything was good.Facility is well maintained and staffs are very courteous. Only drawback would be if the bar counter by the pool has a permanent server all the time for drinks and taking food orders. Rest from the rooms to the breakfast, all was good. Special thanks to Sugam at the front desk who made the check in fast and easy.

Right from the check-in till our check-out everything was 11 out of 10. There was a surprise welcome for us with a cake and decoration in the room. The staff were exceedingly welcoming and helpful. Room was large with an excellent view all kinds of modern amenities. Complimentary access to lounge and cocktails were provided. The dinner was good but the breakfast was excellent with wide variety of choices. Food catering to all tastes were available. We were really spoilt for choice. Definitely recommended.

Amazing stay with the best pool

I was visiting with my family and the stay was amazing. Special thanks to Mr Sugam at the front desk who made our checkin absolutely fast and hassle free. Our requests were also honoured and for that we are grateful. The room provided had a stunning view of the skyline and all the staff members at these property are extremely helpful and attentive. Food is also good, would suggest if they could include some soft drinks with the buffet. And finally coming to the pool, it's probably one of the best maintained in the city right now. Very clean and big enough for everyone to enjoy. The stay was wholesome. Thanks Sugam.

Good top end hotel albeit rather a way out of Kolkata city centre in an area with little to do but convenient for airport. Recommend Club rooms for good quality lounge access and free airport transfer. Rooms well looked after with good cleaning staff, less so around pool area where difficult to get a drink before 1pm as staff still clearing up from night before despite residents trying to relax

Comfortable stay

Comfortable and convenient hotel. The hotel is a Westin high rise and felt like Westins around the world. Everything worked. Staff were very friendly. Breakfast was very good. Room was good size and I slept well. Bathroom was great. Location is convenient relative to airport and Salt Lake. Cleanliness is adequate but not exceptional and there were some minor rough edges here and there.

My one-night stay at Westin Kolkata was exceptional. The hotel's ambiance was elegant, and the staff was incredibly hospitable especially Shruti Pandey (Front Office), providing top-notch service from check-in to check-out. She made sure the room was immaculate, offering a blend of comfort and luxury. The amenities were fantastic, especially the fitness center and the pool area. The dining experience was delightful, with a wide array of delicious options. The minute you enter the hotel the lovely fragrance is a prelude to things to come. The staff is friendly, kind , helpful and welcoming. Our room was spacious and well appointed. The restaurant had an extensive buffet or an al a crate menu. Either choice was extremely satisfying. The popl and gym were amazing. The gym clean and well equipped. The pool was the perfect temperature ( a little cool at first) but a delightful escape from the hot weather. If you have the opportunity, please stay at the Westin… you will be so happy did .

This is a nice hotel and what you would expect from the brand. You get a luxury experience at a very good price. When I checked into this hotel, I had a problem with the cleanliness of my bathroom. But the hotel rectified it straight away and several members of management apologized. I also paid for half-board at the hotel, which included breakfast and dinner. The buffets for each meal were quite expansive and catered to multicultural tastes. Wherever in the world you are traveling from, you will find suitable food. I enjoyed the Indian dishes but the buffet offered other cuisines as well. The hotel is far from the city center, so you will need a taxi or an Uber to get into the heart of the city. And Kolkata traffic is atrocious, especially during the late afternoon and early evening. You should factor that into your plans. Overall, very good value for the price.
