The cocktail in the executive lounge is amazing, the Thai welcome flowers are fragrant, and the free shuttle bus goes straight to Karen observation deck, with touching service details.

Die Unterkunft verfügt über zwei Hotelnamen, das BJ Radisson und das Royal Yao Yai Island Beach Resort. Es handelt sich dabei um dasselbe Hotel. Warum die Hotels unterschiedliche Preise haben, ist mir ein Rätsel. Ansonsten ist die Hotelanlage gepflegt und ruhig gelegen. Das Zimmer war sauber und modern. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung. Ich hatte schon durchaus bessere Auswahlmöglichkeiten in anderen Hotels in Thailand. Preislich finde ich das Hotel für die Leistungen zu teuer. Trotzdem hatten wir einen angenehmen Aufenthalt.

Das Frühstück, der Garten und natürlich der Strand sind wirklich toll. Die Wohngebäude könnten eine Renovierung vertragen, die Gänge sind leider etwas dunkel und muffig, die Zimmer ok aber aber auch nicht sonderlich schön. Unterm Strich, haben wir uns dennoch sehr wohl gefühlt allein wegen des tollen Standes und der Hotelumgebung!

Wanted to like this place, but too many things fell short. Food was average, and service at restaurant was horrible. Waited 1.5 hours to get one dish. Facility was very nice, and beach was beautiful, but after staying at over two dozen resorts in Thailand, this one is near the bottom.
