When checking in, the hotel required a cash deposit and wouldn’t accept a credit card at first, which was inconvenient. The restaurant food is actually better. One time when I ordered room service, the staff asked me to pay in cash, but I told them to charge it to my room — it seems the hotel prefers cash in general, which was a bit confusing. The hotel has its own private beach, reachable by a shuttle that takes about five minutes down the hill. You can simply tell the front desk when you’d like to go.
