"Great location. ATM, 7-11, street food, restaurants, night life, laundromat, massage and riverside within 2 minutes walk. Place was clean despite high turnover of people. Stayed in 4 X doorm and it was very spacious. Some lights not working when reporting to the staff they weren't too bothered, the issue was not rectified during my stay - 3 nights. "With a short walk to either beach or shared swimming pool there aren’t much else you’d want in a resting place like koh Lanta to ask for. There was although problems with locking the bathrooms. The hostel is close to food and stores but there’s not the best roads for a long walk to different parts of the island. All in all a good experience."

"When I booked the whole room, it clearly has a tag 'private washroom' but when i get into the room, there was no private washroom rather than a common space for shower, basin and toilet and male female washroom was not separated which was very inappropriate. The hostel should remove the fake advertising of 'private washroom' with this dorm room."

"It's a nice hostel and the staff is also really nice. "

"Great hostel to stay at, very lively and always something going on. Staff are very friendly and helpful. We stayed in a private room which was just like a very standard hotel room. Music was loud but that is expected with it being a party hostel, and music is turned down every night at 1 anyways. Overall a very pleasant stay!"

Plenty of restaurants closely, but the hostel also provides a free BBQ every night. There's also a bar with games if you want to join in. The reception staff can help with booking trips or transport."

"We loved this resort. The bungalows were very spacious and clean. It had a nice porch to have a coffee in the morning and listen to the birds. The breakfast was amazing with a variety of foods. The resort had several dining options. We tried a few and loved them all! The pool was very nice as well. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our luggage was delayed in Hong Kong and the contacted the airline many times to make sure we got our luggage as soon as possible. We hope we can come back to the island and will definitely stay in the same resort."

"We had an amazing time - overall excellent experience. We came to Layana Resort to relax and relax we did. The hotel staff was really friendly and attentious, the grounds were beautiful, the vibe was quiet and relaxed. The spa was a real treat and we enjoyed the time we spent there getting massages and mani/pedicures. The restaurant was great (especially the Thai dishes and special menus) and we had all our meals there for most of our stay. Eating by the sea never gets old :) Sunsets were beautiful, and while the sea was not safe for swimming for half of our time there (very strong tides), the pool by the beach more than made up for it. "
