Family ran hotel, very friendly and accommodatng. Room was clean and tidy. This is a very old building but they do a good job of keeping it up. Love the waffle breakfast. Pool looked clean and the guests were quiet. Our room faced it and we had no issues with noise.

The cleaning staff really did a good job and actually scrubbed things! Very accommodating. Wish there was a better choice for breakfast. It is the preseason yes, but maybe a few more choices than cereal, waffles and toast.

The hotel is clean and cheap. There is nothing fancy but it looks like the owners take pride in running it. It’s a little hidden because the road got rerouted but I would stay here again

I hotel hopped for the last month, and this is by far my favorite. Everything was clean with fresh paint, and the room didnt feel like i was confined. Decent TV with cable. The manager is the best part, in my opinion. Very enthusiastic and attentive, and he was ready to help in any way.

We weren't impressed at all. In fact tried to leave after finding soiled area/spots on bedspread. We were upgraded to a "Suite" and ended up staying as it was almost midnight, but weren't much impressed with that either, although the shower was nice. Also, Night Clerk should realize when English isn't his 1st language (thus a very strong accent) ~ when talking through a speaker that isn't very clear... talking Faster when dealing with an issue doesn't help at All. I read the reviews and thought... It can't be that bad. Wish I had taken them more seriously.

The rooms and lobby where very dirty and when we turned on the heater it made the room smell bad. Our first room had the door open already when we got to our room, and was very dirty. we requested a different room and were given one, but the second was only slightly cleaner than the first. both smelled dirty

Nasty rooms
I woke the sleeping employee up to check in. He was extremely rude & upset that I bothered his late night nap. Room was bottom of the barrel. My husband & I didn’t even shower before leaving. We decided to get on the road to our next, nicer hotel. They charged me a $25 pet fee for my 20 lb dog to sleep there, which I never mind paying a pet fee. But for a nasty room I didn’t even feel comfortable showering in is a little much. I thought with the 7 star reviews, I’d take the chance, but definitely regretting this one.

Rooms could use a new coat of paint and I think the red stuff in the tub was rust. Also, there was a lot of noise the 1st night. Sounded like someone dragging a big trunk down the stairs and then lots of voices and then a lot of voices two hours later - almost sounded like employees by the few words I could pick up.
