Välskött och mysigt.
En resort som ligger lite långt ifrån stranden, men det kompenserar dom genom att skjutsa med bil till bra stränder. När man sedan vill tillbaka till hotellet kommer dom och hämtar upp dig. Mycket välskött och trevligt ställe.

Beautiful family owned Resort. Great staff.
The staff is very kind and helps you with anything. Beautiful thai style bungalows, lovely garden and very nice, clean pool. Authentic thai food, very delicious and simple but good American breakfast. Ten minutes walk away from a marvellous beach. Public transport after 5 P.M. is not existing. Better rent a motorbike or a car.

Pittoresk hotell som sett sina bästa dagar
Ett hotell som sett sina bästa dagar. Vi hade Executive Cottage som hade mysigt stort rum, bara synd att man hör allt som händer utanför och att dessa ligger vid vägen som är riktigt ljudlig. Sängen var så hård att man känner fjädrarna, kuddar som är stenhårda. Frukosten har inte mycket att erbjuda och ville man äta nåt så hade dom typ inget hemma. Bra pool. Ligger en bra bit ifrån "stan" så man måste ha transport, inte gå avstånd. Kan inte rekommendera detta hotell.

Langt fra alt og dog tæt på alligevel.
Dejligt lokalt uden mange turister.En yderst lækker pool. Selv om ikke alt personale kunne engelsk, gik det udmærket med at forstå vores behov. Tæt på dejlig strand.

Ok ställe men ligger lite avsides
Vi bodde på resorten i början av december och var de enda gästerna på gott och ont. Personalen var väldigt hjälpsamma och skjutsade oss gratis när vi skulle till stranden eller så. Kunde också hyra deras moppe med flak då vi kunde åka alla 5 tillsammans. Men det var bara en som kunde hjälplig engelska de andra inget alls. Rummen var skitiga i synnerhet badrummen. Låg skräp under sängen hela vistelsen. Poolen var det skitigt vatten i men det ordnade dom till efter någon dag.
Trafiken från gatan är störande i några av husen och sängarna är stenhårda som i resten av Thailand.
Det finns inte mycket att göra inom gångavstånd. Det tar ca 10 min till havet och restauranger men det är allt. Annars måste man åka moppe. Finns inte heller några utflykter.
Totalt sett hade vi väldigt sköna och avkopplande dagar på Baan Baitan och personalen gjorde sitt bästa.

Overall not good place
The restaurant has been closed. The staff was not happy to see one client. All days there was a big noise of building an new pavvillion. Far distance to the very bad and dirty beach. the sea look like cloaca
Only the garden and the pool is nice and if there are no other guest you can feel like in our one house, but no service

In a middle of nowhere, own car/motorbike is a must. Small amount of wooden cottages and a swimming pool.
Owner of the hotel is a bit rude, same goes with the receptionist. Staff in the restaurant are nice, friendly and easygoing local people.
The yard area is nice, lot's of plants and flowers and it's kept in fine order. The food is also nice in restaurant, the menu is quite limited, but there are about 20 different dishes available.
The cottages are wooden and of course, when you walk inside, there are some noise always. Shower is small, very low water pressure and a separate water heater. Aircondition barely can keep the air cold enough. Small and pathetic tv with a poor signal. Free Wi-Fi is more like a joke, very slow.
During mon-thu, very quiet. Fri-sun are more crowded. Clients are thais usually and as usual, they are very noisy if there are more than two in the same group. The whole Lam Mae Phim area goes with this same advice, better to go through Mon to Fri and go somewhere else during the weekend.
There are no services available anywhere near the hotel. Nearest local very small 'shop' is about 600 meters away. About 4kms to the Lam Mae Phim Beach, where are more restaurants available. About 18km to Ban Phe where you can get a ferry to the Koh Samet Island.
