The Star Inn, Batley Road, Kirkhamgate Named on the six-inch map of 1854, although obviously rebuilt since then, probably in the first half of the 20C when the half-timbered style was in fashion. The railings and crash barrier are for the bridge over the M1.

Room was spacious and clean. Plenty of drinks available. Bathroom was well stocked. We stayed over for a family event and in our rooms by 11:30pm.
