I made a reservation for a king size bed, I was travelling with a baby. They checked me in with a twin bed, when I asked they said the king is not available and the booking went through as it usually does even if there is no available rooms. I am honestly surprised, definitely not coming back again. The rooms on top of this were not very good, clumsy room and lot of noise. Their outdoor is decorated but the rooms are not really good.

Room was clean the staff was very helpful, just did not appreciate the sly move the corp pulled charging for parking and the $50.00 pet charge. Didn't know Kingston had such limits on space, and that having a dog in a crate in my tile floor room posed an additional $50.00 cleanup charge?. What extra do they do besides sweep & wet mop the same as every room?

Shower/bathroom very dated. Had to pay for parking - in Kingston?! More like a motel, by having to drive your car to the room. Only one muffin left for breakfast.

yes the room were clean but it included a breakfast we did not have any due to that Monday to Thursday they give a small breakfast. But it was Friday morning which did not help us at all due that we left early in the morning. But you could go to Denny's restaurant and get a discount but was not open at the time we needed it open. The parking also has a charge of $700 and to park.

PROS - Plenty of hot water. Professional staff. A lot of shopping, dining and recreation in the area. CONS - The pool and gym are located in another building separate from the guest rooms and they do not make this clear on their website. During my stay (Jan/Feb 2026) it was -17 outside. The driveway you have to walk through to get to the gym and pool was not cleared of ice and snow. It was dangerously slippery. We made one attempt to swim but the pool was occupied entirely by a kids hockey team and their parents and could not swim (Max capacity of 34 people). We did not try again for the rest of my stay. The room was updated and functional but there was water damage at the bottom of the doors. There were buses parked outside my room running their engines for long periods. The smell from the exhaust in my room was overwhelming. The hotel was booked by families travelling with players for a kids hockey team. Each evening of my stay the common areas including the hallway right outside my room was occupied by groups of kids playing, running, banging doors and walls and yelling in the hallways. Occasionally a parent came by to check on them and tell them to keep things down but the adults did not remain and the kids continued to mingle and play outside their rooms unsupervised. Even though my room was just around the corner from the lobby where none of the hotel staff intervened to enforce policies related to common areas and ensure comfort of other guests.

Front desk were AMAZING!! The room was clean but older. The tv didn’t work, maintenance came and fixed the problem. The temperature in the room was comfortable. The shower needs attention immediately. It was very difficult to get an appropriate temperature and even harder to get the water to come out of the shower head(plunger didn’t work). The beds were soo comfortable.

My biggest problem with this location is they are charging for parking… This is the first time in Canada I’ve ever seen a hotel, like this charging for parking.. When you look through the fine print , Apparently they show that they charge for parking. I just wanna make sure that everyone understands this. As far as the quality of the room, they are renovated, but the doors don’t fit properly… There’s light coming in around the main door The outside door doesn’t lock properly I did not feel secure in this room The bedding seemed old But the room was clean, and the staff was exceptionally friendly Just beware of the parking cost..
This is with the door closed and locked with the lights off in the room
