Check-in was efficient. The room assigned was more than adequate. Unfortunately, the room smelt very musty and wet. I asked to be moved to another room. At approximately 18:00 there was a power dip, this resulted in a power outage only in the block I was in. The rest of the hotel had power. My issue was no torches, candles or any alternative lighting was offered or provided. The fridge defrosted leaving water on the floor. I checked out early the next morning, when the power was restored I have no idea.

Bad, very bad.

Horrible. Had to change rooms due to cigarette smell in first room. Dirty ashtray left on the balcony. Second room was ok but unfortunately people next door had a big party outside their room and used our table, chairs and entrance to our room as a dumping ground. Litter everywhere. Reported to management but nothing was done, just an apology. Will never stay here again

Der Empfang im Hotel war leider schlecht. Kein „ warm welcome“; weder die Anlage wurde erklärt, noch nette Worte zur Begrüssung, kein Drink; kein Hilfsangebot für Gepäck etc. Im Zimmer war der Safe defekt (auch keine Anleitung); Toilettenpapier fehlte gänzlich; keine kleinen Handtücher; für zweitägigen Aufenthalt gab es eine kleine Flasche Wasser.. keine weitere in der Minibar: auf Nachfrage wurde die Bestellung im Restaurant gegen Bezahlung geraten! Buchung für Behandlung im Spa war schwierig, da das Timemanagement (inkompetente Mitarbeiter) nicht funktionierte! Massagen waren gut ; ebenso das Diner im Restaurant Giorgio. Insgesamt sehr enttäuschend für 5 Star Guesthouse.

A Gem on the South Coast.

Wonderful service. Everyone went the extra mile especially Brad in the restaurant. Abi was also a real darling. Whatever we asked for was promptly delivered. All the pools were sparkling blue and we did not know where to swim first. A wonderful experience and we cannot wait to tell our friends and return.

Not what I was hoping for

I don’t think this hotel qualifies as a 5 star hotel. The staff were very helpful and friendly but the amenities were not what you would expect from a 5 star hotel. The WiFi was very bad. The mini bar was empty. The TV quite small.

PATHETIC HOTEL!!!!

Business trip

The hotel was good and room was nice. WiFi was an issue as it’s advertised free in rooms and reception but this was not the case. WiFi is only free in reception which is a problem on business trips. Management said it was an incorrect advert which did not solve the problem.

Fabulous experience

Reception was awesome and we were accompanied to our room almost immediately. All paperwork was ready, so no delay to get booked in. We were offered complimentary cake and coffee and also enjoyed a reduced rate on our full body massage at the spa ... what a treat, thank you to the View!! An absolute must to come back here.

My husband and I spent our honeymoon at The View. It was 5 nights of absolute bliss – couldn't fault the gorgeous establishment or super outstanding staff on anything! It was an amazingly stunning experience that we will always cherish and hope to relive on our first wedding anniversary.

Splendid stay, absolutely amazing!

I have stayed at various 5 star hotels, but the View has definitely proven to be an astounding hotel. The service was exceptionally commendable, the food was superb. The finer details included in the room just makes your stay so much more personal and special. To the management of the View Boutique Hotel, well done on ensure such amazing service. I will definitely be back soon.
