we liked the nearby fast food restaurants and a walmart. We enjoy staying at this hotel because it is a half way stop when we travel from our home in Southampton, NYto our grandchildren's home in Holly Springs, NC!

Nice hotel

Convenient location. Checkin was quick and simple. In process of renovating hotel. Wifi was good but get room towards lobby. Breakfast was good and gym was basic and what was needed.

Lobby presentation was very clean, warm, welcoming, and the staff members were friendly and welcoming. Very accommodating and kind. Very nice breakfast. Had to drive 10 miles to find an area with restaurants other than fast food.

The stay started off rough with our first room having a terrible Oder. The front desk staff was nice and moved our room. The second room had broken furniture and still had a unpleasant smell.

We got there late @MN. Front desk lady was very nice and professional. Room was nice and cool. Only thing was the fridge making this ticking noise that made it hard to sleep. AC works great specially with the heat. Some painted area needs repainting. not bad considering it’s only overnight stay.

Love the friendly, welcoming reception personnel

The staff is excellent! They are friendly and helpful to everyone. The hotel is in sad condition but is being renovated. But some things are just housekeeping fix it. Drapes hanging from the rod is not necessary. 1 little bar of soap in the bathroom for the sink and shower.?? The clock is unplugged from behind the bed.? Just the little things.

While the staff were very accomodating, i found the room itself in very poor condition. The curtains were torn and broken. There was mold and mildew in the bathroom. The freezer was full of caked on ice. The microwave sounded like it would blow up at any moment. There was rust all on shower fixtures.

The one elevator to the second floor was all the way in the back of the building. If you had luggage and a room near the front of the building, you either had to carry up your gear to the second floor or walk down the first floor hall to the back of the building, take the elevator and then walk back to the front of the building. Breakfast was good with choices. Saturday's breakfast was replenished well, Sunday's not so much. You had to ask for plates and other things that were not replenished. Staff was nice and cordial. Rooms had refrigerators where they actually worked well.

Lower your expectations here

We stayed in a double queen bedroom. I was not made aware of the remodeling of the hotel until we arrived. Staff was friendly, but the stay was less than stellar from other stays at the same hotel chain. The hotel only had one elevator located on the far end of the hotel. There is only one ice machine located in the hotel lobby. The room smelled musty walking in the room but later goes away once the air conditioner kicks in. The room itself was typical, nothing stood out as outstanding in terms of comfort or amenities. Breakfast was provided and was fine. Overall, don’t expect to be wowed by this particular hotel, but at least the room didn’t smell of cigarette smoke. My father stayed in another room and his TV did not operate and his toilet didn’t work.

I don't understand how this business is still open with such terrible customer service !!! We are not demanding and we don't like to leave bad reviews, but this hotel was by far the worst we have experienced so far !!! The rooms smell like MOLD and are very DIRTY They offer breakfast, but it can't even be called a continental breakfast… They offer a playpen, but it's the same lie as the breakfast!!! The staff is so UNPLEASANT A woman with braces treated us so rudely when asked for an explanation… When I asked her why her attitude was so aggressive, she said she was matching my energies... speechless We love to travel on weekends with our 12 years old and 11 months old kids but I promise you ,this hotel doesn’t match the needs for any type of traveler !
